The Fairline Phantom 65 is an elegant and muscular 65.4-foot luxury sportbridge yacht first introduced by iconic British yacht brand Fairline Yachts in 2022. Striking a fine balance between fluid, sporty lines and a rugged, sturdy profile, this new model is the perfect blend between the athleticism of Fairline’s Targa range and the luxurious volumes of its renowned Phantom line. As Fairline’s first sportbridge yacht, the Phantom is sure to be one of the year’s most vied-after models on the market.
A large teak swim platform features a tender garage big enough for a Williams 345 SportJet, while the subtle curves of teak staircases on either side lead up to the aft cockpit, which is sheltered by the sportbridge overhang. This spot is perfect for catching up with friends around a teak dining table, with a large sunpad on the transom.
Sliding glass doors lead to the tranquil salon dinette and portside J-shaped galley, which features a four-zone cooktop, sink, bridge freezer, and a bar area perfectly positioned to serve the aft cockpit as well as the interior. Just forward and up a gentle step is the expansive lounge area with a U-shaped sofa and coffee table to port and a facing loveseat, both of which benefit from the boat’s large side windows and skylight.
The starboard helm station features two plush helm seats built into stylish blonde or dark wood cabinetry. The helm console is wide and spacious, with a 16-inch Garmin color display, tri-data display, autopilot, and VHF marine radio, F-Drive MFD, powered steering, trim tab controls, and thoughtful details like a USB socket, opening window, and cupholders.
Below deck, there are several layout options to choose from. The standard three-cabin layout features a full-beam amidships owner’s suite with a European king bed, full-beam ensuite bathroom and walk-in closet, Fusion Apollo stereo system, a sofa, mirrored wardrobes, and a television. A starboard guest cabin features two twin beds with access to the nearby day head. The forward VIP suite is nearly as opulent as the owner’s cabin, with a European king-sized bed, full length mirror, reading lights, wardrobes, and an escape hatch to the foredeck. Those who want to enhance this layout can opt for an extended VIP or utility room, which replaces the day head. The optional four-cabin layout features the same amidships owner’s suite and forward VIP suite, but with a second twin guest room to port in lieu of the day head.
Up on the sportbridge is where things get really interesting. An immense wraparound sofa with a teak dining table is the focal point of the aft deck, served by a stylish nearby wet bar with a refrigerator and sink. A further lounge seating area can be found forward, to starboard of the two-seater helm to port, which features much the same equipment as the lower helm.
The Phantom 65 is powered by two Caterpillar C18 engines with a total of 2,300hp reaching estimated top speeds of 31 knots. Optional twin 1622hp Caterpillar C32 engines are also available for those who want to reach 35-knots max.
