The Fairline Phantom 46 is a 47-foot luxury motor yacht with a flybridge that produced by the iconic British yacht-building firm Fairline between 2000 and 2004. Boasting a Bernard Olesinski hull with reverse chines and pronounced strakes, superb seakeeping and powerful engines, this is an immensely seaworthy vessel that has stood the test of time and remains a staunch favorite on the used and charter markets. A sharp profile with a fine entry, curved glazing and a swept-back, aerodynamic flybridge make this as stylish and as modern a vessel as any still out on the water today.
The open-air flybridge benefits from a radar-arch that has been pushed back far aft to allow guests up here to enjoy unimpeded sunshine. A curving sofa to the rear hugs a wide fiberglass table large enough for lengthy lunches, while a rounded wet-bar console with an integrated grill and chilled storage proves ideal for the preparation of food and drink. A central upper helm with great visibility features a trio of upholstered seats so that pilots do not have to captain their vessel alone. Back on the main-deck there is further opportunities to work on your tan out on the foredeck where a double-width sunpad is surrounded by stainless steel grabrails. To stern there is a transom sofa in the aft-cockpit, while a couple of steps down lead to a full-beam, teak-lined swimming platform to stern with an extending passarelle and a bathing ladder.
Half-moon glazing, a wide windscreen and sliding glass doors ensure that the climate-controlled main-deck salon will always remain bright and breezy, while a U-shaped leather sofa and a leather loveseat sitting on a carpeted floor promise plenty of comfortable lounging for the whole family. A high-gloss timber table, honey maple or American cherry surrounds, cabinet space and a wall-mounted TV round out the offering in here, while an open galley with granite-effect work surfaces, a double sink, refrigeration, a microwave, a two-zone hob and a teak and holly sole is available to port. Up front a pair of helm seats face a main-deck dashboard with bow thruster controls, a steering wheel, trim tab switches, space for Raymarine multi-function display screens, Shipmate VHF radio and a Ritchie compass.
Guests will never want for space across a lower deck with sedate sleeping space for up to five overnight guests. A VIP double to the bow comes with oval portholes and a skylight, as well as an island bed, a hanging locker and an en-suite with a separate circular shower stall, while an en-suite twin room further back doubles as an impromptu reading lounge. A further single cabin on this level is joined by a separate crew quarters to aft that is accessed by a transom door.
A pair of Volvo TAMD74P diesel shaft-drive engines fire this sporty yacht to top speeds of around 30 knots with comfortable and smooth cruising of around 24 knots.
