In today's luxury performance cruiser market, fold-down sides that expand a boat's aft deck are pretty common; an option that a decade ago had not yet been adapted with mainstream manufacturers. Galeon Yachts and Azimut were both early adopters, as was Sea Ray. Walk around the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show and you'll find this feature at almost every yacht builder's display. Yet even with the increased square footage of the cockpit, many boats misfire on utilizing this space for much else than a couple of deck chairs.
The new Pardo GT75, the Beach Version, aims to reinvent what it means to vacation at a seaside villa. With a push of a button, hydraulically-controlled side decks extend outwards from the hull, creating a terrace on the ocean. Extend the side decks all the way down to create two-person sunpads, or leave them at an angle for backrests. The point is, you shape your own area to the needs of you and your guests, complete with moveable, modular furniture. A floating swim and diving platform with a ladder, accessed via a set of retractable steps, becomes the perfect jump-off point for snorkeling.
Another intriguing feature, reminiscent of the Absolute Navetta 64, is the electrically-controlled glass doors that reveal an aft, on-deck master stateroom. The glass doors, which double as massive windows, provide exceptional views right at the water's edge. The large master cabin has a center berth, horizontal windows in both hulls, en suite head, and plenty of storage for overnight trips.
Thanks to the creative designers at Pardo Yachts, the GT75 also comes in a version called the 'Tender Garage' (seen below). The electrically-controlled side decks are still a part of the aft deck, but the open deck space has been filled with a massive 3-4 person sunbed. A hatch underneath the sundeck area electrically opens to reveal a dedicated space for your tender, similar to what you would find on a 35 meter+ superyacht.
Another option when designing your very own Pardo GT75 is choosing to have the galley placed up on the main deck or down on the lower deck. When on the main deck, the galley is starboard side in the enclosed pilothouse area, across from an L-shaped couch and table. This allows for easy serving to guests and the chef to continue to be a part of the conversation. The lower deck area then comes with a large amount of seating in the common space. The GT75 on order with SI Yachts has the "galley up" layout which is easier for re-sale in the U.S. market.

The interior of the GT75 was designed and furnished by Nauta Design, an Italian company that has worked with major shipyards like Beneteau, as well as with Cantiere Del Pardo on the GT52. "Creating a balanced blend of elegance and ease of handling, style and performance, comfort and seaworthiness, is the distinctive character which fuels our pencil, when hand-in-hand with modern technology, we turn ideas into reality," says the vision statement for the company. The GT75 is a well-blended combination of elegant appointments, good space distribution, and wide, relaxing interiors.

No matter which version of the GT75 you choose, the VIP suite is positioned in the bow and is exceptionally well-equipped to deliver a restful experience to your important guests on board. The queen-sized center berth has storage underneath, nightstands on both sides, port and starboard windows, and an en suite head. Each bathroom on the lower deck is beautifully appointed. The GT75 can be ordered with two, three, or four cabins for a total of up to 10 berths.

Speaking on performance, the GT75 features the very latest technology from Volvo Penta and was designed specifically for this engine. Owners ordering their own have a choice of either the Volvo D-13 IPS 900, IPS 1050, IPS 1200, or IPS 1350. "The choice of the Volvo Penta IPS propulsion system demonstrates the attention to fuel consumption and cruising comfort that has always been one of the main focuses of the Pardo Yachts range: in addition, the engine room of the GT75 is in fact already set up to receive the Volvo hybrid engine upgrade, a solution that will soon guarantee performance with the lowest possible impact on the marine environment," the factory said in a statement.
