The new 56 FLY, called the Absolute Charisma, has all of the same attributes that have made the new 60 FLY such a resounding success. EXTERIOR ENTERTAINMENT ZONES
Beginning farthest aft, the hydraulic platform on the 56 FLY can be electrically lowered into the water for easy boarding of a tender or as a launching point for water sports. An air-tight pneumatic door is centered in the transom and leads to the crew quarters and engine room access. Above the transom and sectioning off the cockpit area a set of glazed parapets balustrades that are essentially transparent barriers that allow guests in the cockpit to easily view the ocean behind them. Additionally, the side gunwales are open also allowing more visibility.
Spacious and perfectly designed for conversation with a view, the cockpit is a focal point of the 56 Fly, a place your guests will undoubtedly spend time enjoying the environment around them. A third docking station is found starboard side and is easily accessed from the main deck helm through a side access door. Also, with no fixed structural elements and moveable furniture, the cockpit can be adapted to a variety of configurations. As the Absolute team points out, you can enjoy more versions of the same boat!
Heading up the portside steps covered in teak, the flybridge appears practical, comfortable, and refined. Transparent barriers are again found farthest aft giving those seated on the flybridge sofas views of the swim platform and ocean. Similar to the cockpit, the furniture here can be arranged to meet the needs of those on board through a variety of configurations. This especially comes in handy during sunset.
Centered on the flybridge is the wet bar and al fresco dining area. The magnetism of the flybridge is enhanced by the teak flooring, the conveniences of the wetbar and grill, along with the elevated, panoramic views everyone enjoys. Forward is the upper helm that offers complete controls, enhanced navigation, and a sunpad nearby. The factory hardtop shades the dining area, as well as features solar panels that easily power the equipment on board. Absolute has consistently made the commitment to reduce the environmental impact of every boat. Moving forward on the 56 FLY, the foredeck lounge area on the bow features a large couch and oversized sunpad. Whether at anchor or slow cruising the coastline, there has never been a more thoughtfully designed bow to enjoy the outdoors. From hidden speakers, to comfortable cushions, to drink-holders throughout, the bow of the 56 FLY will not allow itself to be ignored.
MARRIAGE OF LIGHT AND SPACE ON THE MAIN DECK
Natural light through picture-windows, beautiful ocean views, and a warm, inviting atmosphere characterize the salon of the Absolute 56 FLY. Upon entry through the cockpit doors, you are greeted with an intriguing layout and textural contrasts. The galley is farthest aft in the salon, equipped with top end appliances and storage that will allow you to cruise for longer vacations. When the cockpit doors are open, the aft deck seating area and galley are seemingly one in the same, allowing guests to be easily served.
A U-shaped couch and dining table can easily seat 5-6 guests whether dining indoors, playing cards, or socializing. This portside couch faces another loveseat sofa that has a hidden cabinet behind it, where an electrically controlled flat screen television appears at the touch of a button.
The windows are an innovative feature for a yacht in the 50-60 foot range. Absolute uses the best materials and latest construction techniques to build a strong enough structure that the main deck windows can be excessively large without affecting the integrity of its performance. Somewhat new to yacht design, the windows can even be partially opened, allowing the sea breeze to enter and refresh the interior.
Forward is the interior helm that is both ergonomic in design and features state-of-the-art navigation technology. A side door allows for fresh air, better starboard side views for docking, and easy access to maneuver on the side decks. The console of the 56 FLY is intelligently laid out for excellent visibility to controls and equipment.
FEELING AT HOME WHILE AT SEA
Below deck, the 56 FLY features a 3-stateroom, 3-head layout not including the aft crew quarters. The master stateroom is found in the bow on a mid-level and features high ceilings, as well as expands to the full beam of the yacht. You will be hard-pressed to find another master suite on a competing model that offers as much volume and space, along with the incredible views from large hull-side windows.
The VIP suite on the 56 FLY is found midship and is also a full-beam cabin. The space, storage, and views rival that of the master suite, giving your guests a truly luxurious and relaxing experience. A third cabin features two single beds and ample storage for long cruising vacations. There are no inner steps to get into the guest cabins, everything is one level, ceilings are high, and each room feels open with large windows.
