The Navetta series is a unique, cruising-oriented variation of the flybridge range from Absolute Yachts. Owners of this style of vessel are often looking for a private, luxury experience on the ocean with resort-like amenities, as well as to make a statement with its exterior styling. Onlookers will find the sheer number of windows to be extraordinary. And while each Navetta model has the appearance of a showboat, the real focus of the shipyard is entirely on the cruising experience and allowing for owners to comfortably live on board for weeks at a time.
The big difference though between the Navetta line and Absolute's series of flybridge yachts is in the performance numbers. For instance, the Navetta 52 will burn 4.8 gallons per hour at 1500RPM and a speed of 7 knots. This gives it a range of just under 700 nautical miles. It's also slightly wider than its sibling, the 52 Flybridge. The 52 Fly, at the same level of RPM's, will cruise at 10.5 knots, but is not nearly as fuel efficient. In this example, the Navetta is 110% more efficient than the Flybridge version. While it does not quite meet full trawler characteristics, the Navetta range clearly appeals to the long-range cruiser that does not want to give up the comfort and luxuries of a motor yacht.
This blend of qualities has allowed Absolute to carve its own niche in the marketplace, one the has been obviously well-received when looking at their order book.
With much anticipation surrounding the announcement, the Italian shipyard has released its plans for its new flagship yacht - the Navetta 75. As the "shipyard's signature" model, all of the most popular features that have evolved over the last several years have been integrated on board.
Called 'The Absolute Sphere', the Navetta 75 is said to describe the Absolute team's pursuit of perfection, one that brings harmony between the ocean and each space on board. Here are a few of the high-level specifications:

No other area demonstrates the progression of Absolute's ingenuity and fresh ideas than the aft social areas on the boat. The synergy between the flybridge aft deck, the cockpit, and the swim platform is palpable, featuring rear glass parapets that allow for visibility and increased views. With no fixed structures on the aft deck of the flybridge, this open-air sunbathing terrace becomes completely versatile with the easy movement of furniture. The opening sunroof in the hardtop, 8-person dining table, wet bar, and outdoor grilling amenities complete the flybridge entertainment area which can accommodate 15-18 guests during a formal party.
Like the flybridge terrace, the cockpit also offers total versatility in its configuration thanks to furniture especially made for Absolute. Whether enjoying conversation over afternoon cocktails or dining with friends, the cockpit is a spacious area with again, no fixed structures to impede the views. Glass barriers line the border of it giving a glimpse to the hydraulic swim platform below - a wonderful sunbathing seat at the water's edge.
Stepping inside the cockpit doors, your senses are greeted to an array of colors, textures, natural light, and ocean breeze that flows through from the open captain's door, as well as the salon windows that have been electrically lowered. With high ceilings and beautiful Italian finishes that accentuate the sea views, the salon will inspire creative conversation. The dining room and salon are joined in one space, while the galley has a partition which separates it, and the helm station, from the formal seating area.
The helm station and captain's chair are ergonomically designed for long-distance cruising in comfort. Experienced boaters will be able to operate the Navetta 75 on their own as a couple, if desired, or a captain will find it very pleasurable to drive. The Navetta 75 has the latest in navigational technology, as well as Volvo's Assisted Docking System with joystick control.
Below deck, Absolute's cabins are highlighted by space, large hullside windows, good ventilation, beautiful furnishings, and all of the comfort features you would find at home. The master suite is found in the bow on an intermediate level between the lower and main decks for exclusive privacy with salon access. It stretches the full beam of the yacht, giving the owner exceptional storage space, a large berth, and en suite head. From the owner's stateroom, through the main deck salon, the Navetta 75 has the volume of a significantly larger motor yacht. Having the master suite in the bow also provides for some exceptional views.
Midship is the VIP suite, a spacious cabin with much of the same space and similar amenities as the master stateroom. Your guests will enjoy the space provided by the full beam layout. Two other guest cabins are nearby, one with a queen-berth, one with double beds that can be joined together by the push of a button, and both with private bathrooms.
