The designers at Absolute Yachts, the cutting-edge Italian shipyard known for its innovative construction techniques, aimed to build a new boat without a single wasted space. This meant figuring out what to do with the transom area should the owner not need a tender or a captain's quarters. At 64 feet and 5 inches, the new Absolute Navetta 64 can still be safely operated by a couple, particularly with the joystick controls and bow-thruster to aid in docking.
Many yachts in this range simply utilize the transom space as storage for diving equipment, a jet ski, or other water toys. Absolute can still do that, but a Beach Club sounds a lot more tantalizing.
As the two full-windowed transom doors open, a spectacular on-water living space is revealed. With two deck chairs, the transom platform becomes the perfect ocean patio that includes overhead screens for a shaded area. Inside the beach club, which doubles as an incredible VIP cabin, a queen-sized bed easily converts into a sofa creating an air-conditioned haven from the sun. A beach club would not be complete without its own amenities. Also included in this space is a fridge, separate head and shower, its own entertainment system, and two wardrobes. It's important to note as well, that even with the addition of the Beach Club space, the Navetta 64 does include a crew cabin accessed from a separate staircase that includes a separate head, wardrobe, and convertible table/bed.

Of course, the Beach Club isn't the only exceptional living space on board. Absolute Yachts is widely recognized for creating boats that truly feel as if you were at home. They dedicate themselves to finding solutions that result in small, but meaningful, improvements like larger windows, better views, or a more comfortable layout. In an interview at the Dusseldorf Boat Show, Absolute Americas President Cesare Mastroianni described their design process as making "specific choices, made with our clear mind, without preconceived ideas, without setting prior technical boundaries." In other words, they design the perfect yacht with their customers in mind first, find solutions to make it happen, and the result is nothing short of perfection.
The flybridge space in itself is remarkable for its use of the boat's 18' 1" beam. There are places to sit and sunbathe forward and aft on the flybridge, as well as a full wet-bar, outdoor dining space, and the upper helm station. In fact, the amount of seating is worth mentioning here because Absolute has essentially wrapped the entire starboard side with couches.
The unique option being offered, though, on the flybridge is the use of a perimeter guide. This is a transparent enclosure that allows you to isolate the forward area of the flybridge during inclement weather.
The interior socializing and dining spaces on the main deck are equally as stunning after stepping foot through the cockpit doors. Absolute has kept a generous amount of space in the salon and the windows are noticeably larger. Absolute calls the window size "unprecedented" and their commitment to creating boats with as much natural light as possible is very apparent.
There is a fluidness throughout the main deck living space from the aft portside galley through the forward salon seating. Absolute sectioned off the main deck helm station by creating a barrier, raising it up several feet, and providing stairs to the dual helm seats. The result is a well-proportioned interior that flows nicely with the picture-windows and the captain has increased visibility thanks to the raised platform.
Similar to the Navetta 68, the Navetta 64 features a full-beam owner's suite positioned in the bow. "The position at the bow has allowed us to provide huge windows that give an incomparable view of the sea, but also a quietness and absolute privacy compared to the owner’s cabins of any other 64′," continued Cesare.

Another notable characteristic of the master suite is the full-beam master bathroom that is exceptionally large and is placed in the extreme forward area of the bow. It is highlighted by large windows on both sides.

If the Beach Club VIP cabin has been claimed, other guests may wish to stay in one of the two staterooms placed midship. The second VIP cabin is starboard and is nearly as magnificent as the master suite. A huge picture window lines the wall of the VIP allowing in light, fresh air through porthole ventilation, and tremendous views. The VIP also has a separate, private bathroom. The third cabin aft is a double-stateroom with single beds and its own head.

Absolute Yachts has made the commitment to only use the most eco-friendly and reliable engines possible that leave the smallest carbon footprint. The Navetta 64 has the option for either Volvo Penta D-13 IPS 1200 engines or the D-13 1350's. The 1200 engines are standard, but the 1350 engines are offered for owners who wish to bring multiple guests with heavy luggage. The D-13 1350's should also be used if the yacht will have a Seakeeper, jet skis, tenders, or other heavy equipment.
