Congratulations is in order to the new owners of this 2017 Princess 52 Flybridge, as well as SI Yachts sales professional Forest Anderson who sold it. The 52 Flybridge was originally a trade through SI Yachts on a brand new Absolute 62 Flybridge, one of the perks of purchasing a new boat through our team. The 52 Fly was only on the market a few months before being closed on today.
"I'm really excited for the new owners of this Princess 52," said Forest. "She is currently headed to Kent Island, Maryland and will spend the upcoming boating season in and around the Chesapeake Bay. This is a perfect boat for the new owners who are going to make a lot of new memories."
Seen below: The engine room on the Princess 52 was very clean, having been serviced at our Staten Island Marina. This 52 featured the upgraded MAN R6 800HP engines with less than 250 hours. Having that few hours was a big benefit for the new owners when looking at options.
Other features on board included a Seakeeper 6 Gyro that provides 6,000 n-m-s of stabilizing power. Seakeeper Gyro's consist of a flywheel that spins at hundreds of miles per hour to counteract that movement or "rolling" of a boat. They are extremely popular now on new and pre-owned sportfish, motor yachts, and center-consoles.
The flybridge was also a strong selling point for this Princess 52. Not only does it take advantage of the 15' 7" beam on the yacht, but it also included the optional hardtop. The flybridge featured a large U-shaped sofa and table aft (seen below), BBQ grill, upper helm station, and a Fusion sound system. This was a highlight for the new owners who plan to spend a lot of time on the flybridge come warmer weather with friends and family.
In true Princess fashion, the interior living spaces are comfortable and luxurious. The aft cockpit, main deck, and inside helm are all on the same level, with the exception of two steps up that separate the formal dining area and the galley. This allows for a subtle separation between the areas, while also keeping a nice streamlined walkway from the cockpit to the helm.
This Princess 52 featured a 3-stateroom, two head layout with a captain's quarters. The master suite stretches the full beam of the yacht and has a king-sized berth, a big selling point to the owners who want extra space. The massive windows provide an abundance of natural light and ventilation below deck. The VIP stateroom is placed forward and features an island berth, hanging locker, and a private entry to the guest head. The third stateroom on board has over/under bunks and a flatscreen television.
