Yachts Making Their Debut:
The Viking shipyard has retired one its most popular models ever, the 80 Convertible, in place of the stunning new 82 Convertible which will make its world premiere at the 2024 Fort Lauderdale Boat Show. The Viking 82 will also be offered with the Advanced Viking Propulsion System (AVPS), which utilizes struts and rudders with modified or “twisted” shapes that minimize hydrodynamic resistance, improving performance. “The strut is designed to improve the in-flow of water to the propeller, while the rudder minimizes resistance in the flow of water from the propeller,” says Viking Naval Architect Joe Snodgrass. “These improvements allow us to use a larger propeller and gain speed.”
The 82C will be powered with twin MTU 16V 2000 M96L 2,635 mhp engines, along with the Advanced Viking Propulsion System, performance levels are expected to be in the same range as the latest Viking 80s – 42 knots at full load with a cruise of 36 knots.
The GT-line from Pardo Yachts has done exceptionally well and SI Yachts is thrilled to have been one of the top dealers for this incredible brand from the esteemed Cantiere del Pardo shipyard. The all-new Pardo GT75 will make its North American debut at the upcoming boat show. Characteristics of the GT75 include exceptional interior volume, high ceilings, immense windows, superb quality (particularly throughout the interior), and spacious exterior social areas. Come see why yhe GT75 was nominated for the 2025 European Powerboat of the Year award!
If there is one thing we've come to know about Viking Yachts President Pat Healey, it's that he's always full of surprises. An unexpected new model was recently announced, the 74 Convertible, and we are thrilled to hear that it will make its debut at the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show alongside the new 82C. The 74 Convertible is said to be the fastest model in the fleet with top speeds in the mid-40 knot range. The 74C will also feature a 216 square foot cockpit that is designed with ample fish boxes, live-wells, storage, ice, tackle, and more.
The secret of the Absolute Navetta model range is out and SI Yachts has not been able to keep these boats in stock very long. With exceptional cruising performance, thoughtful innovations, and luxurious comfort throughout, the Absolute Navetta 70 could be in line for the 'Best In Show'. The Absolute shipyard offers a unique, unburdened design approach that enhance the experience on board for owners and guests. One example, is the use of transparent barriers and open bulwarks around the cockpit, improving the ocean view no matter where you sit.
The new Princess S65 will make its show premiere at this year's FLIBS and sportbridge lovers will not be disappointed. The Princess shipyard has once again found a way to improve upon its already exceptional S-line models and the S65 exemplifies those innovations and subtle changes. The Princes Sportbridge range is known for eloquently combining serious speed and performance, with the luxury and quality synonymous with the Princess name. We invite you to stop by the Princess display at the boat show which will feature a total of 6 beautiful yachts.
While the "F" in the Princess F-line range may stand for Flybridge, it might as well stand for 'Fun' because that is the focal point of the new Princess F65 which will make its show debut this October in Fort Lauderdale. From the spacious flybridge with ample seating and sunbathing opportunities, to the cockpit designed for entertaining, to the beautiful salon interior seating, every detail seeks to facilitate conversation and relaxation. If you're in the market for a yacht between 60 and 70 feet, the new F65 should be at the front of your list.
