SI Yachts is thrilled to announce a sponsorship of Mason Maggio Racing, a professional stock car racing driver in the NASCAR Cup Series. "Mason Maggio is a great guy, very talented, and we are very excited to be sponsoring the team," said Jay Hendrix, Vice President of SI Yachts. "His father Tony Maggio is a personal friend and is now part of our yacht sales team in Jupiter, Florida. When Tony came on board, one of the first things we asked was, how can we help Mason further his career in racing."
Mason will be competing this weekend, February 25th at the Atlanta Motor Speedway for the Ambetter Health 400 Spring 2024 NASCAR weekend! Mason was just eight hundredths of a second away this past weekend from qualifying for the Daytona 500.
Mason Maggio competes in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, a pickup truck racing series that is one of the three national divisions of NASCAR. The Craftsman Truck Series first began back in 1995. The SI Yachts logo will appear prominently all over the truck.
About Mason Maggio:
"Maggio launched his motorsports career at age 11, when he first got behind the wheel of a go-kart. The Floridian has been winning season titles on his way up the racing ladder, including three Florida State INEX Series, two Crisp Motorsports Legend Series, and two Atlanta (Ga.) Motor Speedway Legends Series championships. He graduated to late models in 2021, taking four race victories and capturing Rookie of the Year honors. At 18-years-old, Maggio is breaking onto the national NASCAR scene."
Mason Maggio Racing is part of the Floridian Motorsports Team based out of Jupiter, Florida. “I know this is a dream that Scott (founder of Floridian Motorsports) has had for a long time. He’s been a great partner of mine over the last two years as a sponsor. For him to have faith in me, and choosing me to be the driver to attempt to make our debut is super special,” Maggio said. “Regardless of how the weekend goes, I’m excited, I’m optimistic, and I just want to make the most of it.
