There's something special about being able to leave the dock, just you and your close family and friends on board, without the oversight of a professional captain. Boats between 50 and 60 feet are among the most popular segment in the industry simply because the owner can confidently handle their vessel, especially when equipped with bow thrusters and joystick control.

While there are examples of Azimut 50's lasting only a few weeks being listed for sale on the brokerage market, the average length of time in the last two years for this model has been approximately 6 months. Of course, spending the time and energy to get it ready for the market is crucial. Having a pre-market survey done will allow you to find everything wrong with the boat and get it resolved before listing it for sale.
