The Dusseldorf Boat Show (more accurately called boot Düsseldorf) is the first major boat show of the year in the yachting industry and the largest in the world. Here are some incredible statistics about the show with comparison to the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show.
- 237,000 visitors (100,000 at FLIBS)
- 1,500 exhibitors (1,000 at FLIBS)
- 721,000 square feet of exhibition space (FLIBS is actually more spread out - 3 million square feet!)
Because it's the closest major show for many of the major European motor yacht builders, it's often the first show where new models make their premiere to the public and to the boating media. This adds a level of excitement for visitors and dealers who make the trip from the U.S. to Düsseldorf, Germany. SI Yachts will have several of our premium shipyard partners in attendance including:

BOAT SHOW LINE-UP: PRINCESS YACHTS
The Princess Yachts shipyard is always at the forefront of technology and the team produces a high number of model variations at an extremely high level of quality control. There are now 5 model ranges from the British manufacturer, including several award-winners. The Princess Düsseldorf display will be one you don't want to miss.

Similar to the larger X95 Super Flybridge, the Princess X80 has unique lines for a Princess as the upper and main decks stretch the length of the yacht. The "Super Flybridge" name is well-deserved as it features three separate socializing areas on the X-80: a forward flybridge seating area, an enclosed, climate-controlled bridge, and the aft flybridge lounge area. This change comes as more yacht owners have asked for more entertainment space on the flybridge since this is where the best views are and where guests tend to want to spend their time.

BOAT SHOW LINE-UP: PRESTIGE YACHTS
Prestige Yachts says that their boats put you "in ultimate harmony with the sea" and we tend to agree. From plush interiors, to creatively designed exterior areas for sunbathing and entertaining, Prestige knows what today's yacht owners desire. The new F-line, a re-imagined line-up for the Prestige Flybridge range, will make its debut at the show.

The Prestige F4 has maximized each outdoor area for socializing, sunbathing, and conversing with friends. Beginning aft, the Iro-deck bathing platform creates a wonderful launch point for snorkeling and cannon balls. It's wide enough for sunbathing at the water's edge, features a hot/cold shower, and a stainless steel ladder for easy boarding. Moving up to the cockpit, Prestige has made a simple, yet impactful change, by facing two sofas port and starboard instead of fore and aft, with the table in between. This allows everyone enjoying an al fresco lunch to have more of a water view instead of facing the doors to the salon.

BOAT SHOW LINE-UP: ABSOLUTE YACHTS
The Italian shipyard Absolute Yachts has carved their own space in the crowded luxury cruising yacht market by creating dynamic models that are stunningly beautiful, efficient in performance, and have the comfort that owners require for multi-night vacations on the water. All 3 model ranges will be on display at the show including the new Coupe' line, the popular Navetta line, and the Absolute Fly's.

Absolute has re-imagined the 52 FLY, a popular model in their range since it first debuted in 2013. Many changes and improvements have been integrated into the new model and it is said to be a culmination of all of the popular innovations Absolute has developed over the last few years. Appropriately nicknamed "The Absolute Direction", the 52 FLY certainly gives a clear indication of the direction the award-winning shipyard is headed.

BOAT SHOW LINE-UP: PARDO YACHTS

The Pardo Yachts GT52 is positioned between the walk-around range and the Endurance range. Meant to attract the owners that wish to have the performance of the Endurance line, but with more space and volume than the current walk-around models offer. Many of the features found on the Pardo Endurance 60 are found on the GT52 including the stern side-windows which raise up, aft cockpit doors that open completely, and a sunroof that partly opens the interior.
