Never being ones to shy away from trying something new, the Absolute Yachts shipyard has continued to release some innovative features on their upcoming models. In recent years, this approach has worked exceedingly well with awards like 'Best Interior Design', 'Best For Travel', and 'Powerboat of the Year' for multiple models across both the Navetta and Flybridge ranges.

1. New Vertically-Sliding Swim & Bathing Platform
The new Absolute 70 Fly has an exciting new feature that will make getting in and out of the water (or your tender) that much easier. Instead of dropping down into the water, this platform slides outwards vertically before descending below the ocean's surface. This makes transitioning from swimming, snorkeling, or scuba diving much easier for all guests. Revealed in the process is a set of steps integrated into the transom that lead to the cockpit. A storage locker for water toys is nearby and convenient for washing down and stowing.
2. Salon Port Side Sliding Doors
Absolute continues to innovate when it comes to the windows on their yachts. "Absolute has their own custom windows created with the goal of never having an obstructed view of the ocean," continued Jay. Most recently on the 56 Fly and Navetta 48, we saw Absolute incorporate electric windows in the salon that would lower at the touch of a button. Now with the 70 Fly, Absolute has incorporated a floor-to-ceiling set of sliding doors on the port side. Adjacent to the dining table, this creates a wonderful sea-side ambiance when opened.
3. How Can You Be Innovative With A Mirror?
The master bathroom on the Absolute Navetta 70 features a fun new addition in the form of a creatively configured mirror. So how can you possibly be innovative with a mirror? With the push of a button, the mirror lowers and disappears below the sink revealing a window with a stunning view at the ocean's edge. This is just another example of small, creative details that add to the experience of owning an Absolute. This feature will also be found on the Navetta 75 and the new 70 Fly as well.
4. De-Obstructing Your View
It takes just a few moments being on an Absolute to really understand the ethos of the brand; tranquility, freedom, an appreciation for nature, and a connection with your ocean environment. What better way to deliver such an experience than to enhance the view from nearly every space on board? As you walk along the wide sidedecks from bow to stern, you'll notice glass railings and open gunwales that would normally be filled with fiberglass railings. The cockpit of the new Navetta 53 for example, offers a perfect demonstration of this design feature where the ocean views are extraordinary from every seat.
5. Create Your Perfect Conversation Setting
Whether you are relaxing on the flybridge or having afternoon drinks on the cockpit, Absolute now offers custom-made, free-standing furniture that allows you to position your sofas and seats for the perfect layout. "Sometimes you might have your kids on board, other times maybe it's a close set of friends that you want to be able to converse with," continued Jay. "This has been a popular feature that our Absolute owners have talked about. The furniture is safe and sturdy when underway, but can easily be position depending on the sun or how many people are on board."
