Absolute Yachts Announces New Navetta 50

As part of its exciting new Generation 2026 model updates, Absolute Yachts has announced a brand new model - the Navetta 50. Dubbed "The Absolute Calypso", a symbol of freedom and charm in Greek mythology, the focus of the new Navetta 50 is freedom and autonomy on board. Appealing to the owner-operator who wants to go on adventures without a captain on board, the highlights include the ease of handling, comfort, and space on board allowing for longer journeys. The Navetta 50 allows you to have the confidence of managing a much small boat through its technology, build quality, and inventive layout. Described as "compact and agile", the Navetta 50 truly deliver a bigger yachting experience for a true cruising experience. Indoor/outdoor living on the water has never felt so effortless!

The Absolute shipyard has also announced that the Navetta 50 will make its world debut at the 2026 Cannes Yachting Festival, September 8th through the 13th in 2026.

For more information on the new Navetta 50, including pricing and availability, please contact our Absolute team by emailing Sales@SIYachts.com or calling our main office at (718) 984-7676.

From its contemporary profile to its “use-every-inch” deck planning, the Navetta 50 aims to deliver a bigger-yacht lifestyle in a manageable size - where indoor/outdoor living feels effortless, guests feel connected to the journey, and the boat supports the practical realities of real cruising. The shipyard emphasizes a blend of contemporary lines, generous volumes, and advanced technical solutions, while maintaining the high standards that define the Navetta range.

EXTERIOR LIVING THAT PRIORITIZES VERSATILITY

One of the strongest themes on the Navetta 50 is how intentionally it treats exterior spaces—not as “extras,” but as primary living areas.

  • A step-free flybridge designed for all-day enjoyment: Absolute describes the step-free flybridge as a true open-air living space, planned for long days on the water with a dining area, bar unit, barbecue, and comfortable seating beside the helm—so guests can stay part of the conversation while underway instead of being separated from the driving experience.
  • The “cockpit terrace” concept: indoor/outdoor connection done right: On many yachts, the aft cockpit is a fixed layout that looks good at the dock but feels limiting in real life. Absolute’s approach on the Navetta 50 is different: the yacht features a cockpit terrace conceived as a natural extension of the saloon—notably described as free of fixed elements, with large opening glass surfaces and modular furnishings that can be reconfigured quickly. The goal is a fluid indoor-outdoor flow that adapts to the moment—coffee at anchor, aperitivo with friends, or a relaxed dinner without feeling boxed into one setup.
  • Foredeck comfort with safety and usability in mind: Forward, Absolute says the foredeck has been redesigned to deliver more practical enjoyment, including expansive sunbathing areas and protected walkways beneath the flybridge. Those walkways are accessed via safe side decks equipped with handrails, bulwarks, and integrated lighting, reinforcing the Navetta identity as a yacht built for actual cruising—not just day boating.

Interiors: Light, Views, and an Owner-Friendly Layout

Step inside and the Navetta 50 introduces what Absolute calls a new aesthetic, featuring light woods, refined finishes, and full-height windows that maximize panoramic views and natural light. The effect is intended to make the main deck feel open and airy—more like a waterfront apartment than a traditional 50-foot interior.

A particularly practical design choice is the aft galley, which Absolute notes is positioned to serve both the interior and the cockpit—making entertaining feel natural and reducing the back-and-forth that can break the flow when guests move between inside and out.

At the helm, the Navetta 50 uses a starboard driving position designed to deliver excellent visibility and direct access to the side deck—a detail that matters for owners who want to handle the yacht confidently in real-world situations like docking, line handling, or moving quickly forward while underway.

Accommodations: Big-Yacht Comfort in a Manageable Package

Absolute’s Navetta models have earned a reputation for feeling larger than their length, and the Navetta 50 leans into that philosophy with a night area focused on space, privacy, and versatility.

  • A forward owner’s cabin designed to feel expansive: The forward owner’s cabin is highlighted by a diagonal bed layout, a design move intended to open up floor space and improve flow. Absolute also emphasizes natural light and privacy, plus comfort-focused features including a separate shower and a walk-in wardrobe.
  • VIP + guest + crew flexibility: Beyond the owner’s suite, the yacht includes a midship VIP cabin described as approaching a “second suite” level, complemented by a third guest cabin. Notably for a yacht in this size class, Absolute also specifies a crew cabin, giving owners additional flexibility—whether for professional help on longer trips, occasional crew support, or simply extra dedicated space onboard.
