Considered to be one of America’s most exclusive yacht shows, the Palm Beach International Boat Show has been wowing visitors since it was first inaugurated in 1982. These days the event is bigger and better than ever, with well over 55,000 visitors attending annually to see more than 800 boats from over 600 different brands and brokers. The boat show is slated to generate over one billion dollars in revenue for the city, and in 2025 it will run from March 19th to March 23rd, with events and exhibits including immersive experiences, hundreds of pavilions, a sprawling on-the-water marina, industry seminars and plenty of fun. Opportunities for dining and refreshments will be held on-site, while a wealth of off-site options are also on hand thanks to the boat show’s enviable location right in the heart of Palm Beach.

WHAT IS THE LAYOUT FOR THE PALM BEACH BOAT SHOW?
The hub of this event is very much the marina, which floats atop the Florida Intracoastal waterway between the Flagler Memorial Bridge to the north and the Royal Park Bridge to the south. It would take all day to traverse the jetties and explore the range of boats on display out here, with everything from inflatable tenders and compact day-boats to 325-foot superyachts on offer. For the chance to sample life aboard the latter category head to Superyacht Villas, a designated zone for the show’s largest watercraft, or take a stroll to the South Beach Lady, an epic 4-storey mega-yacht poised to host entertainment all day long. Make sure to drop in to the Aquazone, where you will find live aquabatics, jet-ski displays and watersports events hosted by Nautical Ventures. Elsewhere on this floating city there will be a Goslings Island Bar and an Anheuser-Busch barge for stiff drinks and a chance to unwind surrounded by hundreds of yachts.
There will also be an array of on-land displays and street booths set up along South Flagler Drive, with attractions including the latest in electronics and accessories in a park-like setting. The largest venues on terra firma include the Evernia field booths, a special marquee hosting the latest engine equipment, an indoor set of booths right on Clematis Street as well as a media hub and the Windward VIP club. Seminars set to be held at the boat show include talks and interactive events ranging from boating and fishing through to sustainability and mental health, with a Kids Fishing Clinic hosted by Captain Don Dingman scheduled to begin on the Saturday and Sunday at midday.
WHAT BOAT BRANDS WILL BE AT THE PALM BEACH BOAT SHOW?
A host of boat-builders and yacht-brokers will be in residence at the Palm Beach Boat Show, which is a collaborative production guided by both the Marine Industries Association of Palm Beach and Informa Markets. This high-end affair will be a chance for clients, yachting aficionados and even curious onlookers to engage with the top brands and talk to sales people and representatives from over 600 different companies, to land the best deals, sample the finest vessels and get the inside track on industry developments. Expect a presence from worldwide icons like Britain’s Princess Yachts, UAE’s Gulf Craft, Taiwan’s Horizon Yachts and French firm Prestige; sportfishing yachts from Viking that have made their way south from New Jersey; and vessels from some of America’s most well-known and admired builders.
SI Yachts will represent Viking, Princess, Prestige, Pardo, and Valhalla Boatworks at the Palm Beach Boat Show. Notable new models at the show include the Princess Y80 (seen above), the Pardo E72, and the Viking 74 Convertible. The Palm Beach Show has grown in popularity over the years and is now considered one of the most important boating events of the year. Many manufacturers now display at this show as if it were similar to the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show.
HOW TO GET INTO THE PALM BEACH BOAT SHOW
A location in the very heart of Palm Beach means that there are plenty of hotels within walking distance of the boat show. Alternatively, park in one of three official parking lots at Phillips Point, Esperante Corporate Center and the Hibiscus Garage, which features complimentary shuttles offered by ICON Electric golf carts and boat show sprinter vans to and from the venue. Those travelling within Florida can opt to use the Brightline inter-city rail service for swift and convenient travel to a train station just three blocks away from the event. If you are making your way to Palm Beach from out-of-state then the boat show site can be reached from Palm Beach International Airport in as little as 15 minutes by car.
This year’s boat show will include a special VIP preview event on March 19th, giving attendees the opportunity to sample the best of the event in a less crowded and more personalized environment. Guests are also encouraged to secure their VIP Windward pass, priced at $410 per day, to enjoy exclusive access to a premium bar with drinks from the likes of Ketel One, Crown Royal and Goslings rum, as well as gourmet food, a private lounge, Super Yacht show access and free tickets to the Palm Beach Modern + Contemporary Art Fair.
Tickets for the Palm Beach International Boat show can be acquired via the official website and Events Pass, with single day prices starting at $35 for adults and $17 for kids. If you are an active duty serviceman or veteran then you can enjoy free access to the event on Sunday March 23rd, which can be secured by contacting the hosts. While there is no formal dress code for the show, hosts like to remind guests that there’ll be plenty of walking and a pleasant ocean breeze, so bring comfortable shoes and breathable apparel.

It's also walking distance from the entertainment hub, Clematis Street and Rosemary Square. The Ben has two restaurants including Proper Grit, a gastropub, and Spruzzo, a rooftop Mediterranean-inspired experience.
Four Seasons Resort Palm Beach (6.5 miles, 16 minutes away from show)
A 20-minute drive from the boat show, this is the hotel for those who want sea-views, direct access to a private beach and the sort of pampering that comes with a 5-star resort. Laze all afternoon on a beach-front cabana, take a dip in one of two pools, and enjoy Caribbean-inspired cocktails at a sophisticated bar with ocean views. Spacious rooms have a fresh, maritime take on luxury, and feature welcome options like balconies, lounge space and marble-finished bathrooms. The Four Seasons Resort in Palm Beach is a popular among boat show attendees.
The Colony Hotel (0.5 miles, 3 minutes away from show)
Positioned in the plush heart of Palm Beach, this pink-hued historic destination has been an elegant and refined hang-out for holidaymakers since it first opened in 1947. Judy Garland, Frank Sinatra and John Lennon have all enjoyed the luxuries at this chic hotel, which is noted for its discreet and attentive service, high opulence and heritage character. One of America’s most storied hotels, the two Italianate towers of this historic landmark have been a signature on the Palm Beach skyline for almost a century. Opened by legendary tycoon Henry Flagler and positioned on a stunning 140-acre plot right by the Atlantic, this iconic destination offers superb service, sea views and a refined, exclusive atmosphere. Some of the city’s finest restaurants are located on site at The Breakers, while a famous ballroom brings a touch of Versailles to the Sunshine State. Treat yourself to a sea-front suite with butler service, and take a complimentary chauffeured Tesla house car all the way to the boat show.
Canopy By Hilton West Palm Beach (1.1 miles, 4 minutes away from show)
Located just a block from the boat show, this new addition to the Palm Beach hotel scene is perfect for those who like to stay close to the action. Many visitors to the Palm Beach Boat Show come for the week, enjoy the show for a few days, but also want to experience the best of what this part of South Florida has to offer. There is plenty of fun to be had whether you are coming as a couple with your significant other, some friends, or bringing the kids! Below are a few options in and around West Palm Beach you may want to take advantage.
Norton Museum of Art (0.2 miles, 1 minutes away from show)
Florida’s largest art museum got even bigger in 2018 when a new, Norman Foster-designed wing opened to house modern and contemporary art from luminaries like Damien Hirst, Ed Ruscha and Cindy Sherman. If classical art is more your thing, then make sure to explore the original Art Deco wing to discover stunning works from artists such as Rubens, Gainsborough and Courbet. If you visit the Norton Museum, make sure you spend some time in the Pamela & Robert B. Goergen Garden.
Flagler Museum (1.9 miles, 5 minutes away from show)
Step back into America’s gilded age at this National Historic Landmark located right in the heart of Palm Beach. Also known as Whitehall and originally built as the home of industrialist Henry Flagler, this neo-classical mansion now opens its doors to over 100,000 visitors a year, who come for enchanting interiors, art exhibits and the chance to time-travel to a bygone era. The Flagler Museum is a must-see!
Manatee Lagoon (6 miles, 14 minutes away from show)
Take the kids on a trip they will never forget to the Manatee Lagoon. With the wild manatee season stretching to the end of March, there’s a great chance you’ll get to catch a glimpse of these extraordinary protected marine mammals in their natural habitat while you’re in Palm Beach for the yacht show. Entry is free and includes an augmented reality 3D exhibit, observation decks and an educational display.
Rapids Water Park (8 miles, 12 minutes away from show)
Another great option for those travelling to the boat show with children is to hit up South Florida’s biggest water park, Rapids. This 35-acre site hosts over 40 thrilling water slides, a 25,000 square-foot wave pool, surf simulators and an exciting new addition in the form of Mega Mayhem, Florida’s only dueling water coaster. The 2025 Rapids season opens a week before the boat show begins, so late March is the perfect time to visit before the crowds swell.
Clematis Street (0.5 miles, 1 minute away from show)
The historic heart of West Palm Beach blends historic buildings, independent boutiques and vibrant restaurants in one pedestrian-friendly package. Immediately adjacent to the Boat Show, you’ll enjoy dancing fountains, a free trolley service and a fun atmosphere that lasts well into the evening.
John D. MacArthur Beach (17 miles, 28 minutes away from show)
No visit to Palm Beach is complete without hitting the sands, and this part of Southern Florida has some of the finest stretches of Atlantic-facing beach in the state. For pristine natural landscapes head north to the John D. MacArthur beach, a wind-swept state park great for seaside walks, or follow the strand parallel to South Ocean Boulevard all the way down to Mar-a-Lago to catch a glimpse of dignitaries making their way to the so-called Winter White House. With dozens of miles worth of wide beaches on Palm Beach’s doorstep you’ll never run out of coastline to explore.

You will savor the freshest raw cuts, shellfish and oysters, break open Florida stone crab claws and indulge in a bowl of New England clam chowder, and wash it all down with bespoke cocktails, craft beers and vintage wines. Palm Beach Grill (3 miles, 7 minutes away from show)
Located directly across the water from the Boat Show, this Palm Beach institution offers atmospheric lighting, booth-seating and classic, mouth-watering American cuisine. The kosher hot-dog with curly fries is a Palm Beach icon, but the star of the menu is a pan-fried Dover Sole option plated within 24 hours of being caught. Make sure to phone ahead for reservations, the popular Palm Beach Grill fills up quickly.
Havana Restaurant (3 miles, 6 minutes away from show)
A West Palm Beach favorite, Havana’s lively blend of home-spun Cuban fare, warm welcome and vibrant atmosphere has been drawing the crowds since the restaurant first opened more than 25 years ago. This family-ran venue won the Palm Beach Post Community Choice award for best restaurant in its class six years in a row from 2019. Drop in to find out why, and savor dishes like toasted Cuban sandwiches, seared Palomilla steaks and Ropa Vieja, a fiery Cuban beef stew.
Grandview Public Market (1 mile, 3 minutes from show)

While security at the Palm Beach Boat Show is always excellent, you never know when you might need to contact the police. The main Palm Beach Police office is located at 600 Banyon Boulevard and can be reached (for non-emergencies) at (561) 822-1900.
