Needing a model between the 75 Motor Yacht and the 62 Flybridge, Princess designed the F70 Motor Yacht as a stepping stone to the larger Y-class series. As a result, the F70 Flybridge Motor Yacht has become one of the most popular Princess models in the U.S. market for its perfect proportions, amenities seen on much larger yachts, and a unique interior design that places the galley aft so that both the dining area and aft cockpit can be directly served through the electrically opened aft window. There is plenty of opportunity on the 68MY for outdoor living spaces that are enhanced with comfortable seating and dining areas, but the interior is not to be overlooked. With a bright, airy feeling due to the large windows, the interior of the 70 is just as intriguing. Between the flybridge amenities, the aft galley, the superior performance, and the overall styling of the yacht, the new 70MY just feels different. Princess has been very busy also releasing a brand new V60. Read more.

2019 Prestige Yachts 590 Flybridge
The newest of the Flybridge models is the Prestige 590 Flybridge that will be making its debut at the 2018 Ft. Lauderdale Boat Show where it will be unveiled to the North American market. With anticipation rising, there has been a few sightings in Europe. The overall length is more than 60 feet but inside, as always with Prestige, feels much larger. Fluid lines and excellent ergonomics are the hallmarks of the Prestige 590. Each space and every curve has been designed with form, function and comfort in mind. A generous flybridge and sleek radar arch enhance the onboard comfort and the powerful look. The ability to choose between an independent crew cabin and a large tender garage is unique in her category. All these design features come together in a yacht that provides remarkable comfort and dynamic design. The attention to detail sets the Prestige 590 apart. Rounded furniture edges blend into comfortable seating areas that are both cozy and inviting. Read More.
2019 Absolute Yachts 48 Navetta
The Italian boatyard Absolute Yachts has shown many reasons which have led it to succeed over the last few years. The unstoppable growth of Absolute, which has always aimed to lead the global yachting market, will unveil the new 48 Navetta at the upcoming Fort Lauderdale Boat Show. The new 48 Navetta is a perfect blend of performance and Italian styling that makes her so unique. The 48 has multiple living and socializing spaces that are very well-planned from the extra-large sunpad on the bow, the big U-shaped couch on the flybridge, and the quaint dining area on the aft cockpit. An additional glass door can be found on the boat's starboard side for quick access to the bow sun lounge. Absolute's ine of Navetta models appeals to the cruising enthusiast that wants a newer style of "trawler" boats that have the performance desired. This is a different approach from the highly fuel efficient downeast-style boats, like Legacy Yachts for example, that don't go nearly as fast but are slightly better on fuel.
Fleming Yachts are also incredible cruising yachts that are capable of voyages thousands of miles long. Many owners will cruise for months at a time and reach destinations that other boats aren't able to venture. This is do to the quality construction of Fleming but also the redundancy in their systems.
2019 Cruisers Yachts 46 Cantius (Sneak peek!)
The team was SI Yachts recently traveled to Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin for the recent Cruisers Yachts dealer meeting where we were able to climb on board the brand new 46 Cantius. Making its debut at the upcoming Fort Lauderdale Boat Show, the 46 Cantius will phase out the popular 45 Cantius. While there hasn't been any official information or photography released on the boat, we were able to capture the above picture at the dealer meeting. Notice the big windows below deck and the exciting spaces to relax. We can tell you that this does not feel like a 46' boat, but closer to 50-feet or more because of how well Cruisers has used the available space. Stay tuned for more on the Cruisers 46 Cantius as it is released. Request more info on the 46 here.
In their effort to break the mold in the luxury day boat market, the Princess team partnered with both BAR (Ben Ainslie Racing) Technologies and Pininfarina to help incorporate the latest in advanced technology and naval architecture such as the new AFS System. AFS, which stands for Active Foil System, helps to deliver the 50 knot speed while also making it extremely efficient in effort and fuel consumption. The foils on the R35 actually reduce water resistance by up to 30% and the R35 has a computer on board which is constantly calculating the pitch, roll, and heave acceleration through a high-resolution IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit) with consideration of boat speed, engine revolutions, steering input, and user-selected modes. All of these inputted measurements into the computer are all factored together to automatically adjust the port and starboard foils' positions independently of each other by plus or minus 5 degrees, creating the ultimate driving experience.
