Buyers of luxury flybridge cruising yachts in this range commonly mention the same attributes and requirements they are seeking in a boat. Whether you live in Florida or the Northeast, a thoughtfully laid-out flybridge space is always at the top of the list. There is simply no better position to operate a 50-to-60 foot yacht than on the upper bridge with 360-degree views. The flybridge on this Princess 55 does not disappoint. Notable features include a carbon fiber and composite construction hardtop with canvas enclosure, U-shaped lounge chairs, a wet bar, Kenyon BBQ, LED lighting, and teak decking for the floors.
As with all Princess Yachts, the electronics on board are state-of-the-art and provide excellent navigational qualities. Whether operating from the upper or lower helm station, the captain will have all of the information needed for safe operation as well as keeping track of all systems on board. BALANCE is equipped with a 16" Garmin Multi-functional display with chart plotter and GPS at both the interior and upper helm. For scuba enthusiasts or just owners that enjoy the water, there is an electro-hydraulic swim platform that can be easily lowered into the water. The cockpit seamlessly converges into the salon through the opening of a galley window and the salon sliding doors. The is a large u-shaped couch with a folding dining table for al fresco meals with friends.

"The spacious main deck salon is accentuated by vast windows," says David. "It is complemented by subtle accent lighting, soft fabric finishes and hand-stitched detailing that create an ambiance of luxury throughout the interior." With the combination of high-quality materials and technologically advanced construction techniques at the Princess shipyard, the F55 has larger-than-normal windows that allows for more natural light to flood the salon, along with creating incredible views from every corner inside. There is a large U-shaped sofa with a convertible full-sized dining table that reduces to half its size when folded and has a sliding mechanism which allows it to double as a coffee table.
BALANCE has a popular 3-cabin, 2-head layout that features an aft master stateroom with a large centered berth. The lower deck accommodations are bathed in Alba Oak interior wood with a beautiful satin finish. The master stateroom has the storage and comfort for longer vacations, along with a spacious, private bathroom. The VIP suite is forward and also features a large, centerline berth. The third guest cabin is starboard and features side-by-side bunk beds that can be joined together with the push of a button. The VIP and third guest cabin share a head, although the VIP has a private access door to it.
This 2018 Princess F55 has been well-maintained mechanically and is powered with the reliable twin Volvo D13 800HP engines. The joystick controls are aided by variable speed bow and stern thrusters. There is a 21.5kW generator on board, washer/dryer unit, 78k BTU reverse cycle AC system, and a central vacuum.
