Michael Fine

Mike was born and raised in Port Jefferson, NY, on Long Island. Being born less than a mile from the beach, he was instantly immersed in all the water had to offer. At a very young age, Mike was sitting on his father's lap steering and sailing their 30’ Catalina. “Learning the responsibility of operating a boat at such a young age had such a positive impact on every level of my life.” After countless trips from Montauk to Martha’s Vineyard, he knew he had to carve out a career in boating.

After high school, Mike went on to become a certified marine mechanic. After years of being a technician, many certifications with engine and boat manufacturers, he then was promoted to a service consultant position where he applied all that technical knowledge. Having the ability to sell parts and services opened his eyes to the long-lasting relationships that make a career in sales so vital.

Still having a burning passion for yachting and sales, Mike’s dreams came true, and he took a yacht brokerage position in 2013 in South Florida. Soon thereafter, Mike took his success in brokerage to Montauk, NY. Very quickly, he realized that being part of Staten Island Yacht Sales would be an excellent fit for him. “This is a great company, and I instantly feel like part of the family.” Now, based out of the company's Montauk office, a place he calls home, Mike's excited to continue building those relationships, one boating family at a time.
