Frank Bongiorno

Prior to the 1964 opening, it’s founders Philip Bongiorno and his son Frank were selling Owens and Ulrichsen boats for Schatz Bros. in Brooklyn. As the Verrazano bridge was being constructed Phil and Frank, as entrepreneurs, decided to make that big leap and go into business for themselves in Staten Island. The business began with a purchase of a trailer and a plot of land in Great Kills which is now the current site of our Staten Island location. 

The rest as they say is history. Building relationships and helping people enjoy their lives has been the core philosophy and way of doing business since Philip and Frank Bongiorno opened the doors of this family business in 1964. Frank Bongiorno when asked will always answer – “You can be confident that your experience with us as a yacht buyer or seller will be handled in an exceptionally professional, thoughtful and precise manner. At the same time we want you to feel genuinely comfortable and cared for. Building a genuine long-term relationship with you is mission number one. That is just our way of doing business.”
