Blade, a native New Yorker, has cultivated a diverse and dynamic career path, deeply rooted in his love of being on the water. His journey started in Sag Harbor as a teenage Sailing Instructor, later becoming Head Instructor and the local high school sailing team Head Coach.
After earning his USCG 50 Ton Master Captain’s license in 2009, Blade worked as a captain and crew member on a variety of yachts from 5 to 500 gross tons. In 2012, he joined a wine import and distribution company in New York City as a data entry specialist. Blade’s fast learning, sharp attention to detail and problem-solving skills were quickly recognized, earning him a promotion to General Manager within the first year. In this position, he significantly enhanced company profitability and customer satisfaction.
Blade's connection with the maritime world drew him back to Sag Harbor in 2018, where he joined a highly regarded yacht sales and charter brokerage firm. His tenure as a yacht broker has been marked by over 100 successful deals, a testament to his comprehensive industry knowledge, outstanding communication skills, and unwavering professionalism. Blade's approach is deeply rooted in ethical conduct, building lasting relationships through honesty and integrity.
In addition to his technical skills, Blade is known for his resilience, persistence, and technological savvy, utilizing the latest digital tools to enhance his services. His ability to seamlessly navigate complex transactions, coupled with his dedication to client satisfaction, has established him as a leading yacht broker in the Hamptons. Blade joined SI Yachts in November 2023 with the goal to provide the best value and experience for his clients and to contribute to the success and reputation of SI Yachts.
Some of his favorite hobbies include fishing, surfing, traveling, learning new skills and spending time with his wife Lauren and their two daughters, Savannah and Waverly.
