The Zeelander 7 is a 66-foot luxury motor yacht launched by the prestigious Dutch boat-building firm Zeelander Yachts in 2019 as its flagship model. One of the most stylish yachts on the market, this timeless vessel is inspired by the lobster boats of old, with Art Deco-themed touches, a classic-contemporary vibe, a signature sloping transom and achingly modern curves. Dimensions and detailing are strictly deluxe, with plenty of lacquered mahogany, painted fiberglass, teak brightwork and steel fixtures throughout, while a class-A hull, an assertive entry and powerful engines make this a great option for serious cruisers.
Out on the foredeck there is a trio of modular sunpads with a minimalist vibe, while teak lined side-decking leads all the way back to the open cockpit. In this cool and contemporary space, you can expect to find a pair of beige leather sofas surrounding a bespoke high-gloss breakfast table, though one of the sofas can be exchanged for a triple-width sunpad with a jacuzzi underneath. There’s also a sleek bar in brushed fiberglass back here with a trio of custom-built stools, ideal for morning espresso or evening cocktails, which connects to the aft galley indoors via opening windows. At the touch of a button, however, this space dramatically expands thanks to a fold-out transom that turns into a Cabana beach-club platform big enough for a set of water-level sun-loungers. Due to the stern being utilized for leisure purposes this boat’s tender garage is located to starboard and is large enough for market-leading jet-tenders.
Head indoors to discover an ultra-elegant salon with a teak sole, a walk-in galley, a forward lounge, swooping, wraparound side glazing and a retractable sunroof. The kitchen boasts a sink, an oven, a multi-zone hob and under-counter fridge-freezer units, and presents a sociable heart to the main deck. Ahead of this there is a formal dining table that is surrounded by wrap-around white leather sofas on two sides, with a trio of swivel chairs down one flank. These swivel chairs easily turn around to face the main-helm station, which comes with a trio of Garmin touchscreens, Quick gyrostabilizer controls, digital throttles, a Penta joystick and a power-assisted steering wheel, not to mention superb visibility through a single pane of curved glass.
A winding staircase leads down to a spacious lower-deck with sleeping space for up to six guests across a trio of sedate staterooms each with their own en-suite facilities. Bathrooms on this level boast a spa-like feel with marbled countertops, vanity mirrors, glazed tiles, mahogany accents and tempered glass sinks, along with wet-room shower cubicles. The two staterooms amidship feature queen-sized beds, storage lockers and oversized, electronically tinting mullioned windows that will not be found on any other boat, while a master stateroom by the bow features a skylight, a king-sized island bed, a work-desk, a mirrored headboard, artful shelving, a side sofa and chunky ovoid hull glazing.
Powered by a trio of 1000HP Volvo Penta IPS1350 diesel engines, you can expect top speeds to hit 40 knots, while at a cruising speed of around 21 knots you can expect a range of up to 588 nautical miles.
