The Zeelander 5 is an alluring 48.3-foot yacht first presented by legendary Dutch builders Zeelander Yachts in 2021 at the Cannes Yachting Festival. Sleek and stylish, this is a European yacht influenced by classic New York commuter boats - a match made in heaven.
When extended, a large swim platform features two sunlounges for maximum relaxation. Just forward is a sumptuous cockpit with full walkaround room. It features a U-shaped sofa at the transom and a stylish dining table for the perfect Sunday brunch or a romantic evening beneath the stars. Just forward and sheltered by the hardtop is a further sofa to port serviced by a triangular table. Out on the bow, users will delight at the luxurious lounge area, perfect for sunbathing.
Upon entry to the salon, users will be greeted by a spacious, inviting dining area to port that stretches all the way to the front of the pilothouse. To starboard, a luxurious galley with superb wood cabinetry provides space and amenities to cook up succulent meals. The forward helm is a beauty to behold, a masterclass in slick, creative design. Two helm chairs with pivoting backrests offer captain and mate a range of comfortable seating positions, and can be flipped around toward the dining area when the boat is anchored. Like the previous Zeelander models, the Z5 features panoramic windows and a sunroof, inviting exceptional views, superb visibility, and incredible natural light.
One thing captain and guests are sure to notice is how quietly this yacht rides - one of the quietest rides for a boat in this class, in fact: less than 70 decibels at a whopping 40 knots. Equipped with standard twin 500HP Volvo Penta IPS engines, this boat has a range of 455 nautical miles at a 30-knot cruising speed and can reach max speeds of 45 knots. Those who want a little - or a lot - more power can opt for twin IPS 500 or 650 engines, or an astonishingly speedy triple 650.
A stairway to starboard of the helm leads to the below-deck accommodation. The primary suite is situated amidships and boasts a queen bed with a television, although you may be distracted by the stunning views from the large hull windows. Opposite the bed is a pretty vanity table with excellent soft lighting. It also features a spa-like en suite bathroom with macassar wood paneling, opening portholes and lush Corian marble. For guests, there is a forward cabin with either a double or two twin beds with access to the large day head.
