The Vanquish VQ52 is a sleek custom performance motoryacht first launched by Dutch icon Vanquish Yachts at the 2022 Miami Boat Show. Developed in collaboration with renowned yacht designer Guido de Groot, the VQ52 is a fast and futuristic aluminum hull with ample space and amenities for entertaining. With Vanquish’s signature reverse axe bow, slab sides, and aggressive wraparound windshield, the VQ52 has a stylishly monolithic appeal that is sure to impress friends and onlookers. Despite its robust outline, this vessel’s marine alloy 5083 aluminum construction makes it both light as a feather and strong as an ox, easy to repair and maintain.
After a swim in the turquoise waters of the Med or Biscayne Bay, users can climb up the floating teak swim ladder up to the generous bathing platform of this stunning hull. Nearby, an enormous sunpad with backrest awaits, the first sign that this boat was built for a party. A central sofa snakes around a large dining table, complete with cupholders that can accommodate a chilled bottle of rosé – this is the perfect spot for al fresco tapas and drinks. Take a walk around the wide side decks and you’ll find a further sunpad and a V-shaped dining and chill-out area at the bow, perfect for gathering family, catching up with old friends, and enjoying sunset cocktails.
The starboard helmstation is protected by a windscreen, but owners can also opt for a sporty T-top or a hardtop for extra shade and shelter from the elements. The helm is equipped with a plush captain’s chair and a footrest, two large Raymarine multi-function displays and joystick controls with a skyhook. A large companion seat big enough for two also features a footrest for maximum guest comfort, allowing interaction with the captain while underway. An uncovered version is also available for those who enjoy unimpeded sun and seaspray.
Below deck, you’ll find all the amenities and style of a larger boat. To port is a generous day head, while to starboard is a stunning mini-galley with a wine cooler, sink, grill, and plenty of storage and counter space. An extensive forward V-shaped seating area and dining table offers a chic indoor zone for dining and relaxation surrounded by bright woods, rich upholstery, and clean cabinetry.
The VQ52 is powered by twin Volvo Penta IPS950 engines that reach top speeds of 42 knots.
