The Vanquish VQ32 is a 33-foot custom jet tender that was produced by the award-winning Dutch boat-building firm Vanquish Yachts between 2013 and 2021. A collaborative effort between the in-house Vanquish team, naval stylist Guido de Groot and Studio Delta produced a striking modern day-boat that doubles as the perfect high-end jet tender for your superyacht. An aluminum hull with an axe-bow entry, a drop-down windscreen, a metallic livery and plenty of ultra-contemporary seating makes this a great option for exploring those hidden coves and forgotten beaches that you just otherwise can’t reach. An at least 40-knot top speed and excellent handling, meanwhile, will be much-loved by thrill-seekers who just can’t stop themselves from enjoying a race or two when out on the water.
Hull colors come in a range of striking tones, from seashell cream and Streamline Moderne-inspired pastels to burnished bronze and a swordsmith’s silver. Seating, too, comes in a range of upholstery options to match your vibe, while layouts depend on the production year, with VQ32 models produced prior to 2016 boasting a forward sunpad with lower-deck amenities and models launched after this date featuring a sunken bow lounge. The sunpad option is not far off full-beam, meaning up to three guests can luxuriate in the summer rays for hours on end. Should you opt for the bowrider lounge then you can expect a low-slung V-shaped sofa and a forward loveseat surrounding a pop-up cocktail table, with cup holders intuitively placed into the armrests for ease of use.
To the rear of the tender there are a range of seating options available, including a transom sunpad with an adjustable headrest that can turn this into a forward-facing sofa, too. Alternatively, you can opt for a sofa and a pair of armchairs back here with a set of steps leading down to a full-beam bathing platform. At the helm, hidden behind a collapsing windscreen, a feature that allows for easy storage in your superyacht’s tender garage, you will find a comprehensive set of navigational tech including a steering wheel and a Garmin multi-function display screen, along with a pair of piloting seats and Fusion stereo controls.
On the earlier models the VQ32 even features a compact lower-deck living area with a walk-in galley boasting granite-effect work surfaces, oval portholes, a steel sink, a single zone Casochef hob, a microwave and Isotherm chilled storage, alongside a V-shaped dining sofa with a pop-up table and a lower-head.
Propulsion aboard this stylish boat comes in the form of a Yanmar stern drive diesel with top speeds of up to 38 knots. Alternatively, you can choose to upgrade to the Veloce edition with 2 V6 diesel engines boasting top speeds breaking the 50-knot barrier. A B-class hull promotes fuel efficiency as you drive this vessel along coastal waters for the day, while sound mitigation throughout reduces noise levels even at higher speeds.
