The VanDutch 75 is a 74-foot luxury sportscruiser yacht that is set to be launched by the Netherlands-based yacht-building firm VanDutch in 2023. The upcoming flagship of the VanDutch brand, this elegant and sporty vessel retrains the firm’s signature sleek looks, monolithic profile and ultra-contemporary vibe, but adds the sorts of living spaces and amenities required for longer voyages out to sea. Designed by iconic naval stylists Mulder Design, the boat features avant-garde furnishings as well as cool and modern surrounds that combine with a slick hull and potent engines for a cutting-edge naval package set to be the pride of any marina.
At the gently sloping transom of this yacht, you will find a full-beam bathing platform that connects to a set of discreet side-rails that promote easy docking. The swimming platform is not just robust enough to host a jet-tender but also features an all-new, proprietary VanDutch Launchpad system that extends out and upwards to be used as a dive-board or a passarelle, or lowered into the water to be used as a submersible platform.
A couple of steps up from the platform brings you to a triple-width, full-length sunpad, with fold-up backrests and headrests, that connects to a transom sofa. This yacht’s generous beam allows for the Esthec-lined deck to host four sofas, with a pair of L-shaped sofas facing aft and two U-shaped sofas paired with coffee tables facing one another amidship. The bespoke coffee tables not only feature six multi-sized cup-holders but also include hidden drinks coolers ideal for keeping beers and spirits chilled. The main-deck comes as an al-fresco space as standard, though buyers can also request a stylish T-Top package with a roof for protection from the elements.
Up front, and hidden behind a curved wrap-around windscreen, you will find a starboard wet-bar station with chilled storage, an ice-chipper and a sink, alongside a modern helm station with twin seating. The dashboard hosts a pair of Garmin 25-inch, or a trio of 17-inch touch-screen monitors, autopilot, handheld VHF radio, bow and stern thruster controls, power-steering, Mastervolt C-zone engine feedback, joystick handling and Humphree active ride controls. Indulge your inner DJ by also taking control of the JL multi-zone audio system while sitting at the helm, or, for avid record-collectors, install an optional hidden starboard DJ booth on the main-deck, pair this with optional fiber-optic lighting across the deck and turn your VanDutch 75 into a floating nightclub.
Though marketed as a day-boat the lower-deck accommodation on this vessel transforms it into so much more. An infinitely customizable layout down here, with Miami and Touring versions available, means you can tailor this level to match your needs. Air conditioning, timber flooring, deluxe surfaces, a sparkling white finish, mirrored walls and a plethora of skylights give this level a light and breezy feel. You can fit a fully equipped galley kitchen to port, a U-shaped dining sofa with a table to starboard and a VIP suite with a queen bed to the bow, or, should you opt for the Miami edition, you will enjoy a live-in diner by the bow and a lower-deck lounge with two sofas amidship. On both models you will discover a vast, full-beam owner’s stateroom to aft that benefits from full-height lockers, seating options, a queen-sized bed and a private bathroom.
Pull back the throttles and enjoy top speeds of up to 38 knots thanks to a pair of MAN V12 1650HP shaft-drive diesels that come as standard. Alternatively, add a bit more power to your yacht by upgrading to twin MAN 2000HP engines with top speeds edging over the 40-knot mark.
