The Viking 80SB is an 80-foot convertible sportfishing yacht that was launched by the illustrious New Jersey-based yacht-building firm Viking in 2022. Based on the same sleek and aerodynamic form as the popular 80EB, this model adds a dual-purpose skybridge to the mix for elevated relaxation and piloting. A swept-back profile with clean lines has been fixed to a category A offshore hull and a set of rugged engines that will outpace a mature Marlin, while elegant and deluxe living spaces throughout mean you can turn that week-long fishing trip into an adventure with the whole family.
SI Yachts is the oldest Viking Yachts dealer in the world and we are proud to have been your favorite boat dealer since 1964. Whether you want to purchase a pre-owned Viking or build your own new Viking 80 Skybridge, we have the expertise in-house, along with an industry-leading service team, to ensure your experience exceeds all of your expectations.
There’s no need for a tuna tower on this watercraft as the elevated skybridge hosts an elevated helm station with a teak helm pod, a trio of Stidd helm chairs as well as a snug forward lounge with two chaise-longues, a wet-bar and a U-shaped sofa that wraps around a glossy timber table. One level down and there is an aft-terrace with a stern-facing sofa, an elevated docking station and a set of rocket launchers, while inside the climate-controlled pilot-house there is a lavish L-shaped leather sofa, a bespoke coffee table, and a set of forward seating facing the yacht’s main helm station. Expect a trio of MFD touch-screens in here along with Seakeeper 25 stabilizer switches, VHF radio, a mounted compass, a slew of fishing extras and power-assisted steering.
A capacious sports cockpit features in-sole fish-boxes, transom livewell facilities, flush rod-holders, a floor-plate for a fighting chair, an ice-chipper and a lift-gate for hauling in those record catches. Also located back here is a comfortable mezzanine sofa and chilled drinks storage. The main-deck salon is a symphony of tasteful style, with panoramic side-glazing, glossy hardwood surrounds, cream-toned carpeting, mood lighting and finely-woven upholstered seating options. To aft there is a vast U-shaped sofa with a coffee table and a home entertainment system, while further forward there is a dining sofa and a walk-in galley with a multi-zone hob, a dual steel sink, cooking amenities, under-counter refrigerated storage and a pale granite serving bar with a set of stools.
You can customize lower-deck layouts to maximize either space or occupancy, with maximum room for up to ten overnight guests across five swish staterooms each boasting dedicated en-suite facilities. A pair of twin cabins to starboard are joined by two VIP double en-suite cabins to port and to the bow, with rooms on this level featuring ample locker space. A full-beam owner’s stateroom amidship features a king-sized bed, bedside cabinets, two full-height timber-lined lockers, an armchair, a work-desk or vanity station and a breezy bathroom with two sinks, granite accents and a waterfall shower cubicle.
Standard engines come in the form of twin 1925MHP Caterpillar C32A diesels, with upgrades to a pair of 2025MHP Caterpillar C32B motors also available. Need even more power? Then opt for a twin-set of MTU 2000 V16 M96L shaft-drive engines with up to 2635 points of raw horsepower and top speeds that will blow your peers out of the water. Combine this with an efficient and stable bluewater hull and a 2,600 gallon fuel tank and it is easy to see why the Viking 80SB has emerged as one of the most popular vessels in its class.
