The Viking 52C has been a staple in the mid-size convertible sportfish category for many years. The Viking Yachts 52 Convertible is a staple within the Viking fleet that has sold countless vessels around the world.
Only the finest materials are used in the construction of the Viking 52C including a mix of balsa core, DuPont Kevlar, and fiberglass laminates that are then vacuum-sealed and resin infused resulting in one of the strongest and most durable hulls in its class. The convex shape of the hull even adds buoyancy to the boat while molded strakes on the bottom provide a lift for a higher efficiency when planing. There simply is no more powerful and better handling sportfish in the 50-foot range than the Viking 52C.

The cockpit of the Viking 52 is over 140-square feet of fishing space so a frantic crew can quickly move around during the fast pace of a billfish tournament. A livewell, rod holders, and lots of storage for bait and tackle surround the fighting chair for easy and quick access. And while the fight ensues, any guests along for the ride can enjoy the comfortable, dry view from the upper mezzanine and cheer for their favorite angler.
The beam of the 52C is over 17 feet which offers a spacious salon area for relaxing and entertaining after a long day fishing. There is a L-shaped lounge for seating in front of the home theater system as well as a L-shaped galley and dinette. The interior of the Viking 52 Convertible is luxurious throughout the boat with teak furniture and joinery, all of which you would expect from the quality in a Viking.
Extended trips to the canyons or Bahamas are never a problem on the Viking 52. Everyone on board will enjoy the comfortable arrangement of the three-stateroom layout. The standard layout on the 52C puts a master suite starboard with a queen-sized walk-around berth with hanging locker storage a private head with shower stall. The portside and forward stateroom in the bow feature bunk style berths and share a head with shower stall between them along with a laundry center. Plenty of storage in all three staterooms gives guests plenty of opportunity to bring along everything they need for longer trips.
Owners also have a choice when it comes to engine options. The standard package uses twin MAN V8 1000CRM engines which push out 1000hp each. While the standard option is sufficient, owners may want to upgrade to the MAN V12 1400CRM engines for that extra speed.
