The Valhalla V-55 is a 55-foot center-console sportfishing yacht that was launched by the innovative New Jersey-based boat-building firm Valhalla in 2022. The largest vessel in the current Valhalla fleet, this deluxe model takes the tournament-ready fishing chops, adrenalin-pumping speeds and industry-leading build quality typical of Valhalla and elevates it to a higher level on a larger footprint. Crafted by engineers from Valhalla parent company Viking Yachts working in partnership with Michael Peters Yacht Design, the V-55 is big enough for multi-day trips, sleek and stylish enough to wow guests, rugged enough for the offshore experience and primed for landing the catch of your life.

Lined in teak brightwork with a range of custom liveries available, this elegant model also features a non-slip, self-bailing sole, padded coamings throughout, extensive use of stainless steel hand-rails and a beam of 15-feet, 6-inches for supreme ease of movement across the deck. Head out onto the foredeck to find a timber-lined casting deck, plenty of flush rod-holders, dry storage lockers, two in-sole fish-boxes and a forward livewell. Also on offer up here are twin chaise-longues and a vast, two-tier seating module in diamond-stitched upholstery for up to four guests. In the aft-cockpit there’s a pair of Hooker Sea Chests in-sole, engine access, an ice-box and a pair of 65-gallon transom livewells lined in Aristo Blue with aquarium-style lids. Other cockpit facilities include port and starboard dive doors, plenty of rod-holders, Gemlux outrigger bases, elevated rocket launchers aft of the helm, a floor-plate for teak-lined rocket launchers, electric teaser reels, rod-racks, tackle drawers and the ladder up to your optional Palm Beach tuna tower.
Pick the custom seating arrangement facing the helm to suit your lifestyle, with a single row of five Release Marine seats up front followed by either a second row of seats or a U-shaped sofa that wraps around a timber dining table. Seats up front come with arm-rests, a lavish finish and pop-up bolsters, while a floating T-Top with speakers and lighting as well as wrap-around Costa Clear or ProCurve glazing keeps you dry and sheltered. The oversized helm boasts goodies like an Edson steering wheel with power-assist, triple Garmin touch-screens, a high-speed compass, hand-held VHF, bow thruster controls, digital throttles and tachometer and Seakeeper 9 stabilizer switches.
This yacht’s double-identity is revealed via a starboard door that leads guests down into a spacious and refined lower-deck lined in horizontal-grained, high-gloss walnut with plenty of glazing, plush upholstery and up to 7-feet of head clearance. Upon entry you will discover a dining sofa with a table that faces an open galley with sparkling Corian work surfaces, refrigeration, a microwave oven, a sink and a multi-zone hob, while to aft there is a snug twin-room for a pair of guests. Move forward to discover a head compartment to port and an enclosed shower room to starboard, as well as a double stateroom with plenty of room to relax and unwind.
A proprietary stepped-V, ventilated tunnel hull with a flared bow entry crafted from fiberglass has been optimized for speed, agility and efficiency in bluewater conditions, while you can pick between four and five outboard engines for pulsating speeds and up to 3,000 points of raw horsepower. Go for the standard option of four 600HP Mercury outboards to experience top speeds of up to 52 knots or 64 knots if you choose the five engine set-up. Consistent cruising speeds, meanwhile, will keep up with an energetic marlin, and you will enjoy multi-day fishing trips thanks to a 1,200 gallon fuel tank.
