The Valhalla V-46 is a 46-foot center-console sportfishing yacht that was launched by the innovative New Jersey-based boat-building firm Valhalla in 2021. Ready for competitive fishing, stocked with tournament-level tools, and primed for ultra-fast speeds in a bluewater setting, the V-46 is a deluxe vessel aimed at those who will not compromise on quality. Sleek and stylish, with a masterful finish including teak brightwork and stainless steel throughout, the V-46 is the product of a collaboration between designers from Valhalla’s parent company Viking working in tandem with Michael Peters Yacht Design.

A walk-around layout, a beam of well over 13-feet, padded coamings in sophisticated upholstery, plenty of grabrails and a non-slip, self-bailing deck make this one of the easiest boats in its class to move around on. Head towards the foredeck to discover split-level forward seating for up to four along with two chaise-longues, all in sedate diamond-stitched upholstery with a sophisticated tan finish. Underneath the seats you can expect to find dry storage, fish-boxes and an optional forward livewell, while additional fish-box facilities are located in-deck.
An extra competitive edge can be found in the aft-cockpit, where twin 54 gallon in-sole fish-boxes are joined by a pair of 54-gallon transom livewells with aquarium-style lids and interior surfaces lined in Aristo Blue. This spaces also hosts ice-coolers, a Plano tackle box, plenty of rod holders, rocket launchers, a dive-door, a pair of optional GG Schmitt fold-away seats to aft, a wash-down hose and a chunky mezzanine-style sofa with integrated cup-holders.
There are seven Release Marine seats in two tiers facing the helm console, with each chair boasting arm-rests, pop-up bolsters, a lacquered teak frame and plush diamond-stitched upholstery for supreme comfort. The helm itself sits under a floating T-top with lights and speakers and behind wrap-around ProCurve or Costa Clear glazing for a dry ride, while the dashboard boasts an Edson steering wheel with Seastar Optimus power-assist, a teak helm pod, a trio of Garmin touch-screens, Side Power thruster controls, hand-held VHF, a high-speed compass, Zipwake controls and options like fishing extras and a Seakeeper stabilizer switch.
What distinguishes this watercraft from many rivals in its class is the expansive lower-deck living area. Entering through a discreet port-side door and down teak-lined steps, you enter a space with up to 6-foot, 7-inches of head clearance, multiple windows and a live-aboard feel. Down here there are galley facilities including a sink, a multi-zone hob, a microwave and marble-effect Corian surfaces, while a V-sofa with a walnut-lined table can be transformed into a queen-berth for overnight voyages. A head compartment on this level features a toilet, a sink and a shower nozzle, while there is also access to a stand-up machinery room down here, too.
A double-stepped hull with a ventilated tunnel and a 24-degree transom deadrise has been crafted from reinforced fiberglass for a lightweight, sturdy and well-balanced approach to high-octane pursuits. You can pick between triple or quad Mercury outboard engines with a combined total of up to 2,400HP for top speeds that will exceed 60 knots in stable conditions. Settle into a silky smooth cruising speed of around 31 knots to enjoy a multi-day range of 338 nautical miles thanks to a fuel capacity of 694 gallons.
