The Tiara 49 Coupe is a sporty 50.3-foot motoryacht first launched by Michigan-based shipyard Tiara Yachts in 2018. Raising the standard on luxury and performance, the 49 Coupe is a contemporary classic, with chic, sporty lines hinting at supreme full-throttle performance. The swept-back pilothouse and curved siderails have a dynamic feel, hinting at onboard sociability. A generous sunpad sits atop the proud bow, awaiting sunbathers, while a generous 63” swim platform at the stern (with optional hydraulic lift) provides the perfect spot to enjoy the water. On the aft cockpit, you’ll find hospitable Ultraleather lounge seating that extends from the portside transom gate all the way starboard, seating up to six or seven people at the high-gloss adjustable teak table. A Makefast Marine-powered sunshade allows owners and their guests to enjoy the cockpit come rain or shine.
Dual sliding doors and an aft window open onto the stylish aft galley. Perfectly placed to serve both the main salon and the aft cockpit, it features superb amenities and storage space: two quartz countertops to port and starboard house the stainless-steel undermount sink, recessed two-burner electric cooktop, a two-drawer fridge and one-drawer freezer and a microwave/convection oven.
Up two gentle steps, you’ll find the raised main salon and helmstation. A wide electric sunroof above the helm and salon adds even more light and, in good weather, fresh air. A U-shaped sofa sits to port with a teak dining table, the perfect place to receive your guests and get the party started. A starboard loveseat offers further seating for guests, while a Marine Air Systems air conditioning system keeps things cool. A Fusion UHD multi-zone stereo system allows you to play your favorite tunes throughout the main deck, with four speakers in the salon and outside on the aft cockpit.
The helm features a dual Stidd Ultraleather helm seat perfect for yachting with a companion. Designed for peak performance, the helm is equipped with two Garmin 8616 16” displays, a Volvo electronic engine controls and steering system, Volvo Joystick and Garmin GRID remote in the armrest, low speed, cruise control, and trip computer software, Garmin autopilot, open array radar, and VHF with handheld radios. Opening port and side windows improves visibility and maneuverability, while integrated drink holders add a further touch of comfort.
A central forward companionway leads below deck to the atrium lounge and two staterooms. One of the unique flourishes on the 49 Coupe, the atrium lounge is a quiet seating area here transforms into bunks, adding further accommodation for two when needed. The amidships owner’s suite is full beam, with a queen size pedestal bed positioned beneath a large hull window. A side lounge with accent pillows is found to starboard, a private retreat from the above-deck buzz. There is plenty of space for owners to store their wardrobe, including a cedar-backed hanging locker and a portside dresser. Owners can wind down with a movie thanks to a 29” LED television and Blu-Ray player. Four JL Audio speakers with Fusion stereo augment the cinematic experience.
The forward VIP stateroom is nearly as sumptuous as the owner’s suite, boasting a queen pedestal bed, cedar-backed hanging locker and storage in upper hullside cabinets, and plenty of natural light from the hullside windows. This cabin enjoys en suite access to the day head, which features a comfortable stall shower, toilet, sink, and solid surface countertop with lower vanity storage and a mirror-backed medicine cabinet.
The 49 Coupe is powered by two 800hp Volvo D8 IPS-800 pod-driven engines that reach top speeds of 31 knots. Cruising is more economical and comfortable at 26 knots, with a range of 219 miles.
