The Tiara 44 Flybridge is a superb 45.6-foot flybridge motoryacht debuted by the Michigan-based yacht brand at the 2016 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show. Based on the popular 44 Coupe, this yacht takes the most successful features of its sistership and dials them up a notch with added space and luxury.
Perfect for couples and boating partners, the 44 Flybridge can also be shared with your closest friends and family, with a two-stateroom, two-head layout that sleeps up four people. Last-minute guests are accommodated by a convertible salon dinette, making this Tiara a remarkably sociable boat.
A large swim platform with an optional hydraulic lift is a versatile, lively spot with enough room for an add-on electric grill with transom storage. The aft cockpit features a curvy transom sofa and a gleaming adjustable teak table, perfect for al fresco meals. To starboard, an aft-facing loveseat offers additional seating. The foredeck is great place to sunbathe, with a large sunpad at the bow.
When open, large glazed sliding glass doors allows the cockpit and salon to become one large social hub.
Guests can migrate between the cockpit seating and the plush raised salon lounge area, enjoying stunning views of the water from the L-shaped dinette to port or the starboard loveseat. A central galley is equipped with solid surface countertops, stainless-steel undermount sinks, a recessed two-burner electric cooktop, microwave/convection oven, an Isotherm drawer unit with refrigerator and freezer, and storage throughout. A Fusion sound system allows owners and guests to play music throughout the boat, with speakers in the aft cockpit, salon, flybridge, and even the owner’s stateroom.
The flybridge is the star of the show on this yacht, a feature that most distinguishes it from the 44 Coupe. Commanding the double-wide helm seat on an electric slide, owners will appreciate the Volvo Glass Cockpit package, Volvo autopilot, Garmin radar, VHF radio, and Fantom open array radar. A Volvo joystick and Garmin GRID remote are integrated into the arm of the helm seat alongside engine throttles. To port, guests will enjoy the L-shaped lounge, or gather for a group dinner with the aft U-shaped lounge and hi-lo table that converts to a sunpad.
Below deck, you’ll find the owner’s suite with an opening deck hatch and screened ports for fresh air and natural light. There is plenty of storage throughout with an underbed compartment, shelves to port and storage with forward storage cabinets, and a cedar-backed hanging locker. A 24” Smart TV and Blu-Ray player allow owners to wind down the night with their favorite shows. This private oasis benefits from an en suite bathroom, which features a separate shower stall, mirrored medicine cabinet, a teak and beechwood vanity with a vessel sink, toilet, opening portlights with privacy shades, and a cedar-backed hanging locker.
The VIP suite features two twin beds, a cedar-backed hanging locker, and hullside windows for a bright, roomy feel. Underbed storage and a cedar-backed hanging locker offer plenty of space for your guest’s belongings. This room enjoys access to the day head with a separate shower stall, mirrored medicine cabinet, toilet, and vessel sink.
The 44 Flybridge powered by twin 435hp Volvo Penta IPS-600 engines that reach top speeds near 30 knots, but the 24.5-knot mark is a comfortable cruising speed.
