The Tiara 44 Coupe is a stunning 45.6-foot luxury motoryacht first launched in 2014 by Tiara Yachts, the celebrated Michigan-based shipyard known for onboard comfort and superbly seaworthy hulls. The two-cabin two-head layout on this sociable yacht allows for two couples, groups of close friends, and family to cruise in comfort and style. The owner’s suite is situated at the bow, surrounded by two bright opening portholes and an opening deck hatch for further natural light. This is a fresh, light, airy room perfect for kicking back and watching the 24” Smart TV with Blu-Ray player as the Marine Air Systems air conditioning system keeps you and your companion cool.
A cedar-backed hanging locker, a storage compartment below the bed, shelves to port and starboard, and forward cabinets provide space for owners’ wardrobes and belongings. The comfortable en suite bathroom has a fiberglass shower stall, teak vanity with storage, a vessel sink, opening portlights, a toilet, and a cedar-backed hanging locker. The VIP stateroom features two twin berths, cedar-backed hanging lockers, hullside windows with opening ports, and a skylight with a privacy cover.
The main deck offers unparalleled indoor-outdoor living, with a range of spaces to lounge and entertain. The central galley is cleverly positioned to serve the both the main salon and the cockpit, equipped with a two-burner electric cooktop, solid surface countertops, stainless-steel undermount sink, a microwave/convection oven, and an Isotherm fridge-freezer. Storage can be found in drawers below the countertop and to starboard.
Out on the foredeck, a large sunpad allows guests to catch some rays, while the aft cockpit boasts a superb al fresco dining area complete with a curved settee and dining table. Two aft-facing seats to port and starboard house an insulated cooler space below. Speakers are fitted here, allowing music to circulate throughout the boat and create a party atmosphere.
The forward salon and helm enjoy a powered sunroof, a luxurious source of fresh air and natural light. To port, a plush L-shaped sofa extends aft, with plenty of space for guests to sit and enjoy a light meal at the teak table. To starboard, the helm is a captain’s delight, with extra wide Ultraleather helm seat, drink holders, leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a standard Volvo Glass Cockpit integrated electronics package with Garmin GRID remote aft of the helm joystick.
Twin Volvo 480hp IPS-650 engines are at their best at a zippy cruising speed of 26.5 knots with a range of 241nm. Top speeds are impressive, at 33.3 knots according to Tiara’s speed own performance report. Thanks to the IPS system, handling this yacht is not just a breeze, it’s simply fun.
