The Tiara 39 Open is a showstopping 41.11-foot open motoryacht first launched by the Michigan shipyard Tiara Yachts in 2020. Based on the successful 3900 Coronet from 2013, this exceptionally popular model offers cutting-edge technology, luxurious appointments, and all the latest options. A generous swim platform with optional teak inlay provides the perfect perch from which to enjoy the sea. A door in the transom leads to the open cockpit aboard this yacht, a surprisingly spacious spot with a large L-shaped sofa and a high-gloss teak table ideal for al fresco meals. An optional electric grill or wet bar with icemaker can be found to starboard will get the party started. For those keen on fishing, the cockpit seating can be swapped for rod holders on the gunwhale, tackle drawers, transom baitwell, and an insulated floor storage box.
A short teak companionway forward to starboard leads to pilothouse, which features a further L-shaped sofa with a high-gloss teak table for dining or cocktails. Forward and to starboard is a single adjustable helm seat with a Garmin electronics package, including two 16-inch Garmin displays, a 7-inch engine display, autopilot, VHF radio, open array radar, Ritchie SuperSport SS2000 compass, and an 18” stainless-steel destroyer tilt wheel (a mahogany option is also available).
Stepping down a central staircase near the helm, you’ll be greeted by a cheerful portside galley and a well-appointed starboard dinette and lounge area. The galley is semi-enclosed by teak cabinetry, separate enough to concentrate on cooking but open enough to maintain contact with family and friends. This space is small but outfitted with superb amenities, including a stainless-steel sink, an aft pantry, a two-burner electric cooktop, microwave oven, Vitrifrigo drawer style fridge freezer with an optional icemaker.
An L-shaped sofa with a high-gloss teak table seats 5-6 people with a chic ottoman. This converts into a double lower berth and a single upper pullman berth for guests. From here, you can watch the built-in 28” LED TV with BluRay player and a resonant, rich Soundbar with a wireless subwoofer. Overhead cabinets throughout provide plenty of storage for your belongings. A stunning foredeck skylight and hatch system extends from the salon to the forward owner’s suite.
The forward owner’s suite, hidden behind a thick privacy curtain, features a queen pedestal berth with under-bed storage, a cedar-lined hanging locker and upper storage cabinets for your wardrobe. Two reading lights provide a gentle glow, perfect for solving the latest crossword before bed. A portside day head is functionally an en suite if you and your companion sail solo, with a walk-in shower stall, a toilet, and a mirror above a vanity countertop with storage.
The 39 Open is powered by standard twin 480hp Cummins QSB6.7 diesel engines, reaching top speeds above 30 knots and a cruising speed of 23.8 knots.
