The Sunseeker Predator 108 was first launched in 2007 by the Poole, UK-based firm as a revamp of their 2003 model by the same name. For this second incarnation, Sunseeker took full control of production, producing the new 108 entirely in-house. The result was a totally innovative statement yacht that marked a revolution in Sunseeker’s style: instead of the rounded, arcing lines that distinguished previous models, the new 108 boasted a sharp, mean silhouette that became an instant classic. Its feral but exact symmetry perfectly complements the hi-tech performance of this yacht.
Despite its fearsome profile, the yacht’s interior is pure luxury. Step into the salon, a light and airy space with cream leather seating, bright and rich cherry wood panelling, and a whopping nine feet of headroom – a testament to the size and capacity of this superyacht. The breathability of the space is enhanced by roof windows at the aft end, and you can eat under the stars beneath the large sunroof above the forward dining area. The helm platform is also spacious – up to four of your guests can feel the wind and sea spray in their hair as the 108 Predator cuts through the water. Other configurations of this model merge the study and bed spaces to create an enormous bedroom. Aft you will find a bathroom with a bathtub and shower, as well as a walk-in closet. Two twin cabins and a VIP room are located forward in the bow, each complete with en suite bathrooms with marble finishings.
Triple 16-cylinder MTU engines (a robust 6,000hp) and surface-piercing Arneson Drives ensure quick acceleration, top speeds of nearly 50mph and reduced fuel use and costs.
