The Sunseeker 101 Sport Yacht is a 97-foot luxury motor yacht with a flybridge that was produced by British yacht-building firm Sunseeker between 2013 and 2015. With the sleek and aerodynamic profile of a sports cruiser but at a much larger size, signature jagged hull windows, a plethora of stylish outdoor spaces and plenty of internal relaxation room, this is a great option for families who enjoy extended summer cruising. Critics immediately fell in love with the 101 Sport Yacht from Sunseeker, awarding it the prize for “Best Exterior Design” at the 2014 World Yacht Trophies, while the vessel remains hugely popular on the used and charter markets.
The fully open-air, teak-lined flybridge on this model boasts a sprawling seating area running along the starboard side of the yacht, comprising a hook-shaped transom sofa with an extending dining table as well as an adjoining L-shaped sofa and a forward sun-pad. To port there is a walk-in wet-bar with marble-effect surfaces, a sink, an outdoor grill and an icemaker, along with the upper helm station.
On the main deck you will discover a four-seater sunpad out on the foredeck, across from a pair of lounge sofas either side of a Portuguese Bridge. Out on the partially sheltered aft-deck there is a transom dining sofa with a teak breakfast table, an elevated sunpad with views out across the stern, and side steps down to a full-beam hydraulic bathing platform. You will also find access to the transom garage down here, a capacious locker capable of carrying a Williams 445 jet tender, a jet-ski and a set of Seabobs.
The main deck salon is an open and breezy space thanks to rear sliding glass doors, cresting wave side windows and a double-height windshield, guaranteeing that your stained oak or American Walnut floors, leather furnishings and pale marble surfaces shimmer in the daylight. A rear seating area with a sofa, Ottomans and armchairs sits across from the yacht’s home entertainment system, while an eight-seater dining table separates the living area from the lower helm. You can expect three adjustable helm seats facing the dashboard, where the latest Simrad or Furuno navigational touchscreens are paired with FLIR thermal imaging, power steering, an optional joystick and thruster controls.
A curved staircase leads down to sleeping quarters for up to eight overnight guests, across an en-suite master stateroom, a pair of en-suite twins and a full-beam owner’s stateroom with an L-shaped sofa, a work desk, panoramic side windows, a king-sized bed, a walk-in closet and a large bathroom with a double-sized shower stall. The full-beam galley on the Sunseeker 101 Sport Yacht is located somewhat unusually to the rear of the lower deck for private food prep, and includes a small dinette table, speckled granite counters, a four-zone Miele hob, a Miele convection oven, a full-height American-style fridge-freezer and a stainless-steel sink.
This yacht comes with twin MTU 16V 2000 M94 shaft-drive diesel engines as standard, though there is space in the engine room to add another MTU engine for 50% extra power. Top speeds of over 30 knots make this exceptionally quick for a yacht of this size, while a cruising range of 700 nautical miles at the slower pace of 10 knots gives it horizon-busting appeal.
