The Riva 76 Bahamas Super is a 76-foot luxury sports cruiser that was launched by the iconic Italian boat-building firm Riva in 2022. Based on the same initial concept as the 76 Perseo, this model strips away the flybridge for an al-fresco approach to open-air cruising with a strong connection to the maritime elements. Designed in collaboration with the Ferretti design team and naval stylists Officina Italiana, this sporty vessel boasts a sleek and streamlined form with bullet-like aerodynamics, a sheer metallic livery, a super-fine bow entry and assertive lines. Tailor-made for summer voyages, you can luxuriate in the sun from bow to stern, or head down below deck for unabashed comfort as you enjoy multi-day adventures.
Out on the foredeck there is a minimalist lounge with a forward-facing day-bed and a triple-width sunpad with flip-up backrests right by the bow. At the opposite end of the yacht there is a full-beam swim platform that can be lowered into the water for easy reboarding and a tender garage, while side steps lead up into a free-flowing outdoor cockpit. This contemporary-themed teak-lined space boasts an elevated sunpad up against the transom, a pair of curved modular daybeds to aft and, further forward, a stylish L-shaped sofa in white leather that hugs a timber-topped dining table. Across from this there is a wet-bar station and galley covered by metallic lids with teak handles that lift up to reveal a grill, a sink, chilled storage and ice-making facilities. As you head towards the helm, where a trio of leather-clad piloting seats are snugly hidden behind a sloping windscreen, you will discover that this vessel can switch between covered coupe-style cruiser and open-air sports boat at the switch of a button, with a lightweight carbon-fiber hard-top extending over the helm for additional shade. The modern non-glare dashboard boasts equipment like Xenta power-steering, a trio of oversized touch-screens, Aventics joystick handling, VHF radio, optional Seakeeper stabilizer switches and a Simrad systems monitoring screen built up against the bulwark.
Down on the spacious lower-deck you will be welcomed by polished rosewood, veneered exotic hardwood or lighter oak surrounds, steel fixtures, lacquered surfaces and leather accents for a plush and sophisticated feel, while panoramic side windows let in plenty of unadulterated natural light. The standard layout down here includes a port-side lounge with an L-shaped sofa and a walk-in dressing room that can be exchanged for a lower galley. Alternatively you can switch out the lounge for an extra twin cabin down here, or make do with a trio of sedate staterooms each with en-suite facilities. To starboard there is a twin cabin with ample storage and bathroom facilities including a teak-lined shower cubicle; to the bow there is a double cabin with a waterfall shower in the en-suite; while amidship there is a full-beam owner’s stateroom. This palatial suite boasts a king-sized bed, a full-height armoire and a semi-open bathroom with marbled surfaces, a bidet and a wet-room shower.
Fitted with twin 1800HP MAN V12 shaft-drive engines, you will experience pulsating speeds of up to 37 knots and a swift cruising pace of 32 knots in ideal conditions. A fuel tank holding 1479 gallons of diesel has been designed to keep you out on the water for days, while an efficient displacement hull promotes a cruising range of up to 315 nautical miles.
