The Riva 130 Bellissima is a 129-foot luxury superyacht that was launched by the iconic Italian yacht-building firm Riva in 2022. Riva Yachts may have built their brand on classic dayboats, but this ambitious model showcases their modern flair for something on a much grander scale. Designed in partnership with the Ferretti design department and naval stylists Officina Italiana, this mammoth yacht hides its bulk well thanks to a geometric and faceted design in steel and brushed carbon-fiber with a futuristic metallic sheen, cutaway bulwarks, plenty of wrap-around tinted glazing and sharp aesthetic curves. With four-decks of contemporary living spaces, an array of sun-kissed deck spaces with a minimalist vibe and a modern approach to seakeeping, the 130 Bellissima looks set to become one of the most impressive superyachts ever put to water.
A lofty skybridge with exhilarating views features a fully-equipped wet-bar, lounge sofas in striking white upholstery and outdoor dining for the whole family. Head down one level to discover a capacious teak-lined aft-terrace with sunpads and a dining table, or head into the enclosed bridge to discover a chic cocktail lounge with floor-to-ceiling glazing, slide-open doors, an array of seating options, a captain’s quarters and a focused pilot-house with cutting-edge navigational tech and a dramatically curved windscreen crafted from spherical crystals. A multi-tiered foredeck on this level, meanwhile, promises one of the largest unbroken open-air lounges on the market today, boasting a pair of L-shaped sofas surrounding a set of timber-lined tables, a multi-zone sunpad for up to six and, nestled by the bow for extra privacy, an exquisite jacuzzi plunge-pool.
There’s a series of outdoor spaces on the main-deck, starting with a sheltered aft-deck with a transom sofa, a marble-topped wet-bar and a set of armchairs, while a few steps down leads to a beach club with a water-level sofa. To stern there is a full-beam bathing platform, while accessed via a starboard side door is a capacious garage with a lifting system and room for a pair of jet-tenders. Full-height, slide open glazed doors line the main-deck salon, where you can expect elegant touches like polished rosewood, light timber accents, tinted glass surfaces, leather paneling, and a veneered marble staircase that links the decks. A sociable lounge with a pair of sprawling sofas will greet you upon entry, while further forward there is a formal bespoke dining table for ten hungry guests. A live-aboard galley and storage area separates this space from a full-beam owner’s stateroom at the front of this level with a private entrance corridor, an enclosed office, a separate lounge, a vast walk-in dressing room with timber-lined closets, a king-sized bed and two separate deluxe bathrooms linked by a wet-room shower.
There is room for eight more overnight guests on the lower-deck, with each of the four cabins boasting oversized hull windows, queen-sized beds, private en-suite bathrooms and plentiful storage. A separate crew quarters sits to the bow and features sleeping options and living space for up to six members of staff.
Powered by twin 2638MHP MTU 16V M96L engines, you can expect top speeds of almost 23 knots and a silky-smooth cruising speed of 20 knots. A semi-displacement planing hull with a class-A certification has been crafted for adventurous offshore voyages, while a 4490-gallon fuel tank will help you stay on the move all week long.
