The Riva 102 Corsaro is a 99-foot luxury motoryacht with a flybridge that was launched by the iconic Italian yacht-building firm Riva in 2022. An updated edition of the popular 100 Corsaro model, this new vessel boasts a few extra feet of space, an original beach-club zone, contemporary interiors with a fresh Italian flair and expanded glazing. What this model shares with its forebear is a super-sharp profile, a futuristic metallic livery, and the sort of aggressive lines that suggest plenty of raw speed and prowess out on the water. Designed as a collaborative effort between the in-house Ferretti team and naval stylists Officina Italiana, the 102 Corsaro is the perfect superyacht for lavish cruising with the whole family, and shortly after launch bagged the title for “Most Achieved Yacht” at the 2022 World Yacht Trophies held in Cannes.
A vast, teak-lined upper-deck has been split into four distinct zones each with a unique appeal. Head out onto the elevated foredeck to discover a forward-facing U-shaped lounge sofa with plenty of privacy thanks to its sunken floor and high gunwales, while a four-zone sunpad with cushioned headrests provides the perfect place to work on your tan in utter seclusion. At the opposite end of the bridge there is another sunpad zone, this time large enough for chaise-longues, sofas, daybeds and ottomans, with views out beyond a glazed transom wall. Across the middle portion of this deck there is a floating hard-top for much-needed shade that hangs over an L-shaped sofa, a teak-topped dining table and set of dining chairs, along with a walk-in wet-bar with sheer Corian surfaces, a sink, an ice-chipper, a grill and masses of chilled storage. Up front there is an outdoor helm station for piloting against the elements, while a door leads down into an enclosed, climate-controlled pilothouse for focused navigation with cutting-edge helm tools.
A shaded aft-deck one level down offers guests the chance to relax at a transom sofa with an accompanying wet-bar, or head down to a full-beam beach club area with a timber-framed swim ladder. There’s also a garage with a launching system back here that is large enough to house a jet-tender, a water-ski and a set of Seabobs.
Head into the main-deck salon to experience warm Canaletto walnut, satin-finished titanium surfaces, leather accents, authentic wool carpeting, steel fixtures, marbled pillars and modern strip lighting for an elegant atmosphere. Floor-to-ceiling windows throughout combine with wide slide-open doors to aft, port and starboard for a breezy vibe, while cutaway gunwales enhance the views out to the horizon. Expect furnishings from achingly cool design houses like Paola Lenti, Minotti, Poliform and Loro Piana, with items including a bespoke glass and timber dining table for eight to aft and a trio of swish sofas further forward. A storage, access and galley space amidship separates the salon from a full-beam master stateroom at the front of this level. This opulent suite boasts an entrance lobby, a walk-in dressing room, a side sofa, a king-sized bed, a work-desk, cinema-screen glazing and a vast, marble-lined double bathroom.
There is sleeping space for up to eight more overnight guests on the lower-deck, where four double or twin staterooms boast generous hull windows, full-height closets and spacious bathrooms with waterfall shower cubicles. A separate crew quarters for up to five sits towards the bow and is accessed via a separate entry.
