The Princess Y95 is a 95-foot luxury explorer yacht with a flybridge that was launched by the illustrious British yacht-building firm Princess in early 2023. A stylish modern cruiser with wrap-around glazing, sleek lines, graceful curves and an assertive, wave-slicing bow-entry, this hefty vessel boasts a classic Princess look with plenty of contemporary touches. The svelte superstructure was crafted in partnership with naval design studio Pininfarina, an offshore-optimized hull is the work of industry legend Bernard Olesinski while interiors present an elegant and understated vibe across a trio of lavish and spacious levels. It should come as no surprise, then, to discover that Princess sold four of these impressive models before the range was even launched.

The teak-lined flybridge is flared to aft for a full-beam feel, while it narrows at the front, where you will find an outdoor helm station and a companion sofa, for a more focused atmosphere. To aft there is room for sun-loungers, a set of bespoke nesting coffee tables and a sprawling L-shaped sofa, while across the center there is a ten-seater, timber-lined dining table and a walk-in wet-bar with sculptural angles, a marble work surface, a metallic serving bar, stools, an outdoor grill and plenty of refrigeration. The flybridge comes as an entirely open-air version but can also be covered with a floating hard-top with a glazed sunroof, while a companionway door at the front of this level leads into a raised pilothouse. In this subdued space you will find a side sofa, a map-desk, a leather-lined ergonomic piloting seat, oversized Raymarine display screens, twin engine monitors, power-steering, joystick handling, thruster controls and touch-screen instrumentation. Head out onto the raised foredeck, meanwhile, to enjoy a pristine sun-lounge with a pair of raised modular sunpads for up to four sun-seekers and a secluded forward sofa for six.
Shaded afternoon drinks are best enjoyed in the aft-deck, where a curving transom sofa wraps around a dining table with a pair of armchairs, while side steps lead down to a full-beam bathing platform with an actuating lift function and access to a capacious tender garage. The main-deck salon is accessed via sliding glass doors and comes lined in your choice of Rovere, Alba or Silver Oak with walnut accents, demure tones throughout, cinema-screen glazing, finely woven upholstery and surfaces in tinted glass and marble. An elegant U-shaped sofa and a side-sofa can be found to aft, while further forward there is a set of bespoke cabinets and an oval dining table for ten hungry guests. Beyond a paneled bulkhead there is a live-aboard kitchen with a five-zone hob, masses of refrigeration, a steel sink, a convection oven and quartz countertops, while at the front of this level there is a full-beam owner’s stateroom. This plush suite features a king-sized bed, a work-desk, a private lounge, a walk-in closet and a spa-like bathroom lined in marble and stone with triple-width vanity mirrors, a pair of molded sinks and a wet-room shower with its own hull window.
The master stateroom on the lower-deck is just as impressive, and features the exact same set of amenities, while two en-suite twin cabins sit amidship. At the front of the lower-deck there is a VIP double cabin with a walk-in closet, a desk and a lavish bathroom, with rooms down here benefiting from swooping widescreen windows. There is also a crew quarters to stern with its own facilities accessed via a transom door.
Powered by twin 2000HP MAN V12 engines, you can expect top speeds to hit 24 knots, while at an economical cruising speed of 17 knots you will be out on the water all week long before needing a refuel, thanks to a 3,540-gallon fuel tank. Based on the same offshore hull as the Princess X95, this model sets new standards for seakeeping, agility and efficiency in its class.
