The ultimate 50-foot flybridge, the Princess 50 was launched by the renowned Portsmouth, England-based firm in Spring 2019. Built in collaboration with eminent naval architect Bernard Olesinski, the Princess F50 offers both an open sense of living and an unparalleled operating experience that far surpasses other compact flybridge yachts in its class. With fluid lines, enhanced space, and hi-tech performance, this lightweight, sporty yacht provides the ultimate on-water experience for guests and owner-operators alike.
Designed with on-deck living in mind, the Princess 50’s outdoor spaces flow effortlessly into the interior of this vessel. Access to the cockpit area is from both port and starboard. Bright and social with a teak table, it seamlessly connects to the aft saloon through triple opening stainless-steel framed sliding doors. The saloon is spacious and serene, with warm satin-finished oak accents complemented by stylish white seating, including a six-seater dinette and a two-seater sofa poised to enjoy the streaming sound system and optional TV. The galley is no less impressive. A 3-zone ceramic stove allows a range of dishes to be cooked at once. A fridge-freezer, sideboard with storage and further refrigerator capacity, full-height larder unit, and ample storage makes the kitchen a chef’s delight.
Prioritizing space and performance, this yacht manages to comfortably fit three luxurious staterooms sleeping up to 6 guests. Each room has an opening porthole, enhancing the sedate and open atmosphere that predominates on this yacht. The full-beam master stateroom is a testament to Princess’s dedication to configuring the F50 with as much space as possible: ample headroom, free-flowing walkways around the bed, and non-mullioned windows for maximum natural light. A full-height mirror, vanity table, and a deep wardrobe with hanging closet make this room impressively liveable. Like the master, the forward guest cabin boasts an ensuite bathrooms with Avonite floors and countertops with day access. Although it has plenty of storage space, this guest cabin’s best feature is the skylight, perfect for sleeping beneath the full moon. The starboard guest cabin is equipped with two single beds, perfect for families with kids or single guests.
The flybridge deck is where the Princess 50 really shines, replete with lounge space for relaxing or partying. It can be reached via a walkable staircase with railings on either side. A large U-shaped seating area boasts a folding teak table to park your glass of green juice (or a bottle of beer) while a curvy L-shaped seat converts to a sunbed perfect for soaking up the rays and chatting with a friend as you cruise to paradise. Waterproof speakers connect to an audio system with built-in streaming capability, and an optional wetbar with barbecue and sink offer endless entertainment possibilities.
The helm station is outfitted with the latest Volvo-Garmin navigation, enabling the 50 to be helmed from both the flybridge and main deck. The teak foredeck features a plush sunpad perfect for enjoying a quiet moment as you’re moored up on the still waters of a peaceful bay. The boat comes with a Bimini top and optional LED lighting. The top folds aft, allowing you to put it away while cruising. Powered by twin Volvo D8 IPS 800 diesel engines, the Princess 50 hits top speed at 36 knots, aided by a unique resin-infused deep-V hull for peak performance.
