The Prestige 590S is a 52-foot coupe-style express yacht with a sundeck that was launched by the renowned French yacht-building firm Prestige in 2019. Based on the same design as the popular 590 Fly, this model swaps a full-sized flybridge for a more focused sundeck to aft, opening up room across the salon for an above-helm sunroof. Crafted in partnership with long-standing Prestige partners Garroni Design, the 590S boasts sporty lines, dynamic glazing, a wealth of al-fresco lounge spaces and powerful pod or V-drive engines for thrilling at-sea performance.

Though lacking the capacious dimensions of a traditional flybridge, the raised skydeck to aft on this model is still large enough to host a sprawling sunpad with headrests, a centrally positioned helm station and chilled drinks storage. Yet for the full al-fresco treatment you may wish to head down to the foredeck, where a modular sunpad made up of seven removable cushions can be used for tanning or turned into a forward-facing sofa with a pop-up table. At the rear you will discover a teak-lined aft-cockpit with a transom daybed and an extending breakfast table, as well as side steps down to a fully hydraulic swimming platform and a tender garage capable of storing of a Williams Minijet tender.
Laid-back European elegance sets the tone for a light oak or wengewood-lined internal salon, with a walk-in aft-galley that directly connects to the cockpit thanks to sliding glass doors and steel-framed opening panes. The kitchen boasts dark marbled Corian work surfaces, Miele appliances, a Siemens hob, a fridge-freezer tower and a stainless-steel sink, and is separated from the lounge by only a couple of steps. In here there is plush carpeting, a U-shaped sofa surrounding a timber table and a starboard loveseat. Up front the helm station boasts a seat in Sea Oyster grey leatherette, Raymarine Axiom screens, FLIR DockSense tech, thruster controls, a steering wheel, Skyhook trim tabs, Zeus joystick handling, a Seakeeper stabilizer switch and VHF radio. Because there is no full flybridge budding pilots get to enjoy an above-helm retractable glazed sunroof while commanding their vessel, allowing for plenty of natural light and atmospheric salty breezes.
Three lower-deck en-suite cabins provide sleeping quarters for up to six overnight guests, with a port-side twin berth and a VIP double with a hanging locker taking up the front portion of the hull. The amidship master suite, meanwhile, hosts booth-style seating, a work desk, corner lockers, a large double bed and horizontal mullions, while a walk-in closet directly connects to a split-level bathroom with a shower cubicle and a double-width, marble lined bucket sink. This room is accessed via a private staircase across from the galley, while an optional crew quarters for one is reached via a transom door.
You can choose between a pair of Cummins QSB 8.3 600MHP pod propulsion or V-drive diesel engines to roar this yacht to top speeds touching the 30-knot mark, with comfortable cruising clocking in at 23 knots. At this lower speed you can expect a range of around 270 nautical miles, more than enough for extended island hopping.
