The Prestige 440S is a 43-foot coupe-style express cruiser yacht launched by the award-winning French yacht-building firm Prestige in 2011. Crafted in partnership with naval stylists Garroni Design, this ultra-sporty vessel marries high-performance to sleek, modern style, while delivering the sort of breezy living spaces you would expect from a much larger vessel.
SI Yachts is proud to be one of the top Prestige Yachts dealers in the world. We continually stock new models in inventory and have boats on order. This is very much a yacht made for warm-weather cruising, with plentiful outdoor lounge spaces across its single-level main deck. On the foredeck there is a triple-width sunpad in water-proof upholstery where sunworshippers can relax for hours on end safely enclosed by high stainless-steel guardrails. To the stern there is a partially sheltered aft-cockpit boasting a large, U-shaped transom sofa with backrests that hugs a timber-topped, pop-up breakfast table. This sofa can easily be turned into a sprawling daybed if you prefer to spread out and take a nap, while a glazed transom gate and a sidestep leads you down to a full-beam, teak-lined swimming platform. Also down here is a capacious transom garage, missing on sibling yacht the 440 Fly, which can accommodate a modern Williams jet tender.
Retractable glass doors and glazing separating the cockpit from the salon disappear at the touch of a button to create a vast, single deck living space that is ideal for hosting. The teak-lined salon features a port-side, U-shaped sofa surrounding a timber-topped dining table, while to starboard there is a wet-bar station with a grill and plenty of chilled storage. Not only do side windows in here slide down manually but there is an above-helm glazed electronic sunroof that lets in plenty of light, not to mention those wonderful sea breezes. The modern helm in here features a twin upholstered bench seat, a leather-clad steering wheel, a Penta joystick, thruster controls, a Raymarine E120 digital control screen, VHF radio, compasses and more.
The Prestige 440S boasts a lower-deck configuration that puts rival yachts to shame. Not only is this wonderful space lined in warm Alpi oak surfaces, with floors in plush carpet and furnishings clad in authentic white leather, but the galley and dinette down here boast a double-height, atrium-style glazed ceiling. Masses of head clearance and clear sunlight, then, stream into a room with a U-shaped sofa, a breakfast table and a galley featuring Corian work surfaces, Miele appliances, a microwave, a fridge-freezer tower, a two-zone hob and a stainless-steel sink. There are also two en-suite double cabins on this level, with a VIP suite to the bow featuring full-height closets, a skylight and a walk-in wardrobe. The master stateroom to aft, meanwhile, features an island double, a full-height closet, a work-desk with a pop-up vanity mirror and rounded porthole windows.
A proprietary Michael Peters hull-form offers irresistible agility while traversing coastal waters, not to mention balance and efficiency at those thrilling higher speeds. A pair of 370MHP Volvo IPS-500 diesel engines with pod-drives power this yacht to full-throttle speeds of over 35 knots and consistent cruising speeds of 25 knots. At this lower pace you can expect a range of 270 nautical miles, more than enough for high-speed island-hopping in the Aegean or Caribbean Seas.
