The Prestige 38S is a 38.8-foot hardtop express cruiser released by the Groupe Beneteau-owned French shipyard in 2009. With an angular, sweeping profile, the 38S is elegantly sporty, with a modified deep V-hull designed by renowned designer Michael Peters. Similar to its predecessor, the popular 42S, Prestige maximizes space brilliantly, fitting nearly all of the features of the 42S into the under-40-foot 38S.

A teak bathing platform with a swim ladder leads to the the aft cockpit. Here you will find a C-shaped sofa curved around a dining table, perfect for al fresco meals. It easily seats five (and converts into a sunpad), while a nearby wet bar will keep the refreshment flowing. A cockpit shower is also on hand for rinsing off after a swim.
Inside the bridge deck, another seating area with a table provides room for four more guests, extending all the way to the helm. The dining table converts into a double berth. Both areas completely open to one another, enhancing the sociable feeling aboard this boat. The starboard helm, with an optional E120 chartplotter, has a wide double seat ideal for cruising with a companion.
Below deck, a U-shaped sofa with a dining table to starboard also converts to a double bed. The galley is located to port, with a stainless-steel sink, microwave, two-burner stove, and refrigerator. Port and forward, a day head with a separate shower compartment serves owner and guest accommodation. The owner’s suite features a pair of hanging lockers, private entry to the day head, a double island bed, and a full-beam dressing room. Plenty of storage is located throughout.
The full-beam guest suite can be found just forward of the engine room, with single beds that convert to a double. Chic bench seating is located to port, and storage is located throughout. A large side window provides natural light and a relaxed feel.
The 38S is equipped with two standard 320hp Cummins MerCruiser engines that provide top speeds of over 34 knots and a comfortable cruising speed of 22 knots.
