The Pershing 82 is a sporty, distinguished 82-foot luxury motoryacht launched by Ferretti-owned shipyard Pershing in 2012. Designed by naval architect Fulvio de Simoni in collaboration with Ferretti’s Advance Yacht Technology department, the 82 swept up three World Yacht Trophies at its debut in Cannes for ‘Best Design’, ‘Best Layout’, and ‘Best Innovation’. It is not difficult to see why.
A retractable door that divides the cockpit and salon can be retracted at the touch of a button, allowing the salon to extend naturally into the cockpit to create a larger, more free-flowing space on this Pershing Yacht for sale. Two sofas, one of which transforms into a spacious sunpad, are serviced by a folding table, perfect for al fresco drinks and meals. A mobile bar with a barbecue provides everything you need for entertaining. Further innovation is seen in the hydraulically retractable, Besenzoni-designed carbon stairway that provides access to the sundeck when lowered but leaves the cockpit clear when retracted.
Upon entry to the salon, guests will find a spacious U-shaped sofa big enough to mingle without feeling cramped. Interiors are furnished by iconic Italian design firm Poltrona Frau and Cassina, with oak sideboards and paneling that provide a restful contrast with the soft, clean tones of the superstructure, ceilings, and furniture. A forward dining table seats up to six, just a short step away from the three-seater helmstation, which features a sunroof. Autotrim of ZF allows users to automatically optimize speed, fuel consumption and performance. Levers on the right of the helmstation and a tiller on the left allows the operator to control the boat easily and accurately. MTU monitors and other navigational display panels are easily seen and tracked on the screen.
Up the retractable ladder to the flybridge sundeck, you’ll find a sunpad and two armchairs that can be reclined and transformed into sunlounges. These two chairs act as bookends for the upper helm station, which is equipped with a pop-up navigation console. A minibar is built into the helm seat, perfect for accessing quick snacks or tapas. The foredeck is another great choice for entertaining, with a large sunpad forward of a C-shaped seating and dining area. If the sun is too bright or too scarce, the foredeck can be covered with a canopy.
Below deck, you will find a pleasing owner’s suite amidships, a forward VIP cabin and between them two twin cabins. Each of the guest cabins has an ensuite bathroom boasting Bisazza-tiles and Antoniolupi sinks, while the owner’s head features sculptural metallic wallpaper by French firm Elitis. The L-shaped galley is also located here but is strictly separated from the lower-deck salon and can be accessed from the crew quarters. An alternative, optional layout that offers three cabins instead of four, with a starboard lounge room and two crew cabins instead of one.
The 82 is equipped with two robust MTU 16 V 2,000 M93 engines with a Searex SR140S ZF propulsion system and Rolla surface piercing propellers, which work together to reach top speeds of 45 knots.
