The Pershing 7X is a lightning-fast 69.3-foot enclosed hardtop yacht launched by the prestigious Ferretti-owned Italian brand in 2019. Still in production today, the 7X is light as a feather – thanks to its lightweight carbon fiber construction – and impressively fast, attaining a jaw-dropping top speed of 50 knots. The 7X is part of Pershing’s new, groundbreaking ‘Generation X’ fleet, distinguished by light composite materials – carbon, vinyl ester resin, epoxy resin – and sporty, aerodynamic profiles, the result of a collaboration between Ferretti’s Engineering Department, Product Strategy Committee, and legendary designer Fulvio De Simoni. The 7X is perfect for thrill seekers with a need for speed, but its masterful construction and lithe but curvaceous profile will please even the most discerning aesthetes.
Step aboard and you will notice the unique swimming platform, which wraps around the sides of the yacht. The garage door lifts part of the swimming platform to reveal a tender garage capable of hosting, launching and retrieving a Williams 345. Steps located on either side lead you to the cockpit, which features a manual bimini top to shelter the sedate lounge area from the blistering sun. A sofa and al fresco dining area are located here – the L-shaped seating area is served by a long table that can be automatically lowered to the level of the cushions and transformed into a large, ottoman-like pad. A sink and barbecue are located on either side of the deck. At the foredeck, there is a generous lounge area with sunpads and chaise-longues – with a large integrated storage located behind them. A descending glass bulkhead allows a seamless flow between the cockpit and the salon. The salon itself is replete with natural light, thanks to enormous glass windows that predominate throughout the space.
Below deck are three spacious cabins, as well as a starboard seating area opposite the well-appointed galley. A large owner’s suite would not be out of place in a luxury hotel, with side windows that provide stunning views and natural light. An ensuite bathroom features a spacious separate shower, toilet, and a deep basin with a sleek, modern faucet. There is a small window that provides and air light to the space, while grey and black accents provide a calming atmosphere for starting and ending your day. A forward VIP cabin is less spacious, but with windows that open and generous 6.5 feet of headroom, it never feels cramped. A further third cabin with two twin beds is located starboard and has an ensuite bathroom that doubles as the day head. A standard single crew cabin is located between the engine room bulkhead and the owner’s suite, with unobtrusive access via a hatch in the cockpit sofa that provides privacy to guests and crew alike.
The 7X is outfitted with two powerful 1,800hp MAN V12 engines which, combined with the aerodynamic superstructure and light displacement, provides top speeds of 50 knots and a cruising speed of 42 knots. For owner-operators obsessed with speed, style, and performance the Pershing 7X is an unbeatable choice.
