The Pershing 50 is a 51.11-foot express cruiser yacht launched by the Ferretti-owned Italian brand in 2004. A deep-V hull with a 22-degree deadrise and a long, tapered bow slices through the water with ease, even in rougher waters, while Arneson surface drives provide a stable yet full-throttle ride.
A central passarelle can be extended over the aft sunpad, perfect for easy boarding. The sunpad hides a six-foot-deep hatch capable of being used as stowage or crew quarters, depending on your configuration. A large teak swim platform provides the perfect perch for sunworshippers and those who want to get their toes wet. The foredeck also features a large sunpad that accommodates up to three people and is accessible via stainless-steel rails. A large, automatic sunroof opens the boat up from cockpit to helm, providing airflow and natural light on sunny days, and protection from the elements during stormy weather.
The interiors are clean and minimalist, in accord with its high-tech ethos, but with rounded white furnishings contrasting with bright polished cherrywood panels, imparting a funkier – but still classic – vibe than you’d expect. The forward helm station, located starboard, is given a no-nonsense Kevlar instrument panel, which is organized vertically instead of horizontally. A silver gelcoat finish surrounds the panel’s fiberglass rim, giving it an almost aeronautical feel. To port of the helm is a long, wraparound U-shaped seating area with white leather upholstery and a folding table (which can be hydraulically retracted) perfect for dining and socializing. The forward end of the seating area doubles as swivel chairs that can be raised up and maneuvered to face forward, acting as a double companion seat opposite the helm.
A staircase located by the helm lead to a further lounge area with a curvy leather settee. This is an airy, chill space, luxurious but unpretentious in the best way. A portside galley is well-provided for, with a two-burner Bosch stove, sink, and microwave. A large fridge-freezer can be found behind the wooden joinery. The forward owner’s suite has rounded contours with curvy paneling around the mirrored headboard and access to an ensuite bathroom. A day head is nearby and servicing both aft guest cabins, one a comfortable double, the other featuring two single beds.
The Pershing 50 is equipped with twin 800hp MAN D2848 LE403 diesel engines with Arneson surface drives, with top speeds of 45-knots and a cruising speed of 38 knots.
