The Pardo GT52 is a 54-foot high-performance powerboat that was launched by the innovative Italian yacht-building firm Pardo Yachts in 2022. A joint design effort between the in-house Pardo team, naval architects from Zuccheri Design and stylists from the Nauta Design Group, this vessel takes its cues from the popular P50 but emphasises year-round, all-weather cruising thanks to its expansive and luxurious internal lounge spaces. Ultra-contemporary looks with a minimalist appeal, modern lines and a slick monolithic form combine with a sheer hull-form that makes this yacht look like it has been sculpted out of a single slab of marble. A raked-forward cockpit with wrap-around glazing leans into the breeze for an assertive look as this vessel strikes out across the water, while sharply defined hull windows and a high, wave-piercing, inverted bow entry add a sense of dynamic urgency.

Marketed as a crossover between a cabin-cruiser and a walkaround, there is plenty of al-fresco, teak-lined deck-space perfect for soaking up the summer rays. Out on an elevated foredeck you will discover a double-width cushioned sunpad with headrests that works as a secluded retreat where guests will laze in unadulterated luxury for hours on end. Head to stern, meanwhile, and discover a full-beam hydraulic bathing platform perfect for dips into the azure waters, while a couple of steps up welcome you into an open-air aft-lounge with a laid-back, sultry appeal. A U-shaped sofa with padded back-rests and marine-grade upholstery surrounds a wide teak-lined table where up to six guests can enjoy lavish lunches and late-night events in sheer comfort, while a pair of mezzanine seats with cup-holders sit underneath an overhang for views out to stern. Want to develop a summer tan? Simply lower the table into place, cover with filler cushions, and fold-down the sofa backrests to turn this space into one, vast modular sunpad for three or four sunbathers.
Sliding glass doors to the rear of the cockpit entirely open up, and work in tandem with a glazed retractable sunroof and slide-back side windows for a breezy feel while indoors. In here there is a white leather sofa to port and a twin-seat facing the starboard helm station. The dashboard comes with next-gen features like dual Garmin or Volvo Glass Cockpit touch-screens, power-steering, a high-speed compass, a Penta docking joystick and digital controls for an intuitive and user-friendly piloting experience. You can also choose to install an open galley here with solid work surfaces, a multi-zone induction hob, a combination oven, a steel sink and masses of chilled storage. Alternatively you can place the kitchen on the lower-deck to enjoy a second L-shaped sofa up here.
Heading down into the climate-controlled lower-deck you can expect a lobby lined in pale oak with an atrium-style connection to the main-deck. Down here there is a pleasing two-cabin, two-head layout with plenty of natural light thanks to hull-side windows and a forward skylight. A twin room to aft features a lounge seat, a bedside cabinet and easy access to a starboard head with a shower cubicle, while the forward stateroom features a queen-sized bed, a sofa, plush carpeting, timber-lined closet space and a capacious bathroom with a waterfall shower room. An extra single cabin can be accessed via a separate deck door, ideal for pilots or extra guests.
A truly pulsating ride, the GT52 is equipped with a pair of 600HP Volvo Penta IPS 800 engines for top speeds that should top 35 knots in ideal conditions. Ride this modern watercraft at a swift 25 knot cruising speed and enjoy traversing the Mediterranean or Gulf Coast all weekend thanks to a fuel capacity of 2,000 liters, making this a great option for adventurous souls.
