Whether you’re cruising the Med or the waterways of Australia, the Pardo 38 is the perfect dayboat, with an open, walkaround deck for easy, breezy views and a highly adaptable lounge space with a range of seating configurations to keep things interesting. Natural teak flooring gives this boat a classic Italian finish reminiscent of 1960s which, combined with ultra-modern finishes, will make you feel like you’re in an advertisement for a luxury perfume or a priceless watch.
A generous swim platform leads up to a sumptuous aft cockpit lounge. Perfectly designed for an al fresco dinner, cool white-upholstered sofas offer plush room for up to six to eat, drink, and be merry around a folding table. When desired, this area can be transformed into a sunpad with the addition of a filler cushion. An electric Bimini top offers shade from the sun’s rays at the touch of a button. Just forward, an outdoor kitchen with a two-burner induction cooktop separates the dining area from the helmstation. This unit also features a sink, below-counter storage, wastebasket, a refrigerator, and two smaller drawer refrigerators behind the aft dining seats. Generous side decks with tall bulwarks lead to the exceptional bow, whose entire volume is given over to a monumental sunpad.
Though this boat invites its users to revel in the elements, the helm is supremely sheltered thanks to a tall windscreen. Three bolster seats face the helmstation, with the captain in the middle facing a glossy dashboard, chic steering wheel, joystick, and other navigational features beneath a glass hardtop. To port from the helm is a discreet door leading below deck to a large, open-plan owner’s suite with a queen bed. Portholes invite much-needed natural light. A separate head with toilet, sink and shower allow you to travel in style and comfort. Storage can be found throughout, integrated into the cabinetry. A second configuration of this cabin includes a second cabin with two twin beds, separate from but open to the primary queen bed - an option that is sure to appeal to users who plan on travelling with friends or children.
While Pardo offers a range of engine options for the 38, from Volvo Penta D4s to 300HP Mercury Verados, the standard engines on this boat are a pair of twin Volvo V6-280 CVs with a 14-knot planing speed, a max speed of 50 knots, and a 260-gallon fuel tank capacity.
