The Lazzara UHV 125 is a 125-foot superyacht that was launched by the iconic Florida-based yacht-building firm Lazzara Yachts in 2022. With trawler-like offshore capabilities, a rugged expedition hull, powerful engines and a soaring double-height bow that chops through waves with ease, this is the ideal live-aboard vessel for adventurous souls who wish to traverse the globe in style. Setting new standards in elegance, spaciousness and modernity in its class, the UHV 125 was crafted in collaboration with Spanish naval architects Barracuda Yacht Design to fully realize this ambitious new craft.
Unlike the two other UHV yachts in this range the 125 features an all-new sundeck up top, appearing like a crown on top of the yacht’s three other decks. Only a lightweight hard-top will come between you and the expansive blue sky as you relax across this teak-lined al-fresco space, enjoying 360-degree views while you recline over one of four curving sofas or as you sip drinks at the C-shaped marble-lined wet-bar with six stools, an ice-chipper and a grill. Elsewhere there is room for a set of sun-loungers and, to the front of the bridge, an oval spa-pool jacuzzi flanked by twin three-seater leather sunpads.
Across the upper-deck there are three distinct lounge spaces, with one of the largest foredecks on the market offering a pair of U-shaped sofas surrounding a timber table as well as a quadruple-width leather sunpad. To the rear there is room for al-fresco diners to enjoy meals at an eight-seater dining table, while a walk-in wet-bar lined in marble is joined by a transom sofa for up to nine guests. Across the center of the upper-deck there is a lavish salon with sofas, armchairs, a day-head, a poker table and another wet-bar with a distinctly Art Deco style. Also on offer up here is a pilothouse with a map-desk, a trio of leather piloting seats and a ship-style helm station with four Garmin multi-function display screens, compasses, VHF radio, thruster controls, joystick handling and power-steering, while side doors lead out to bulbous side-decks that can be used as cocktail terraces.
Down on the main-deck you will enjoy afternoon aperitifs in the shaded aft-cockpit, where a transom sofa is joined by side steps to a full-beam bathing platform that can host a jet-tender and a transom garage that doubles as a water-level beach-club with a home entertainment system. The main-deck salon is a symphony of deluxe materials, with gold-leaf etching, bronze surrounds, lavish marble, opulent chandeliers, floor-to-ceiling glazing, leather wall-panels and a pair of C-shaped conversation sofas. After negotiating your way past an eight-seater dining table you will find an enclosed port-side galley with Corian work surfaces and the very latest in kitchen appliances. A full-beam owner’s stateroom on this level impresses with a king-sized island bed, a living room with sofas, a fold-out bulwark terrace floating above the water, a work-desk, a walk-in dressing room with full-height closets and a double bathroom with a tub, marble countertops and a sauna-style wet-room. Four more en-suite staterooms with lavish surrounds and dynamic hull glazing sit on the lower-deck and are joined by an innovative amidship tender garage with room for a jet-ski and a dinghy, while crew quarters for up to four members of staff sit to aft.
A pair of heavy-duty 1500mhp MAN diesel engines fire this yacht to astonishing top speeds of 18 knots, with consistent cruising of around 12 knots able to carry you far and wide thanks to a fuel tank holding 5,415 gallons of diesel. An optional upgrade is also available should you wish to install even more powerful twin MTU 16V 2000 M96L diesels.
