The Lazzara UHV 100 is a 100-foot tri-deck luxury expedition yacht that was launched by the iconic Florida-based yacht-building company Lazzara Yachts in 2022. An ultra-high-volume model with a full-length upper-deck, a soaring double-height bow, dramatic glazing and a rugged ocean-going category-A hull, this is a yacht that sets stunning new industry standards for spaciousness and luxury in the trawler-class. A genuine live-aboard vessel with the sort of amenities you would expect from a 5-star hotel, the UHV 100 was crafted in collaboration with renowned Spanish naval architects Barracuda Yacht Design to fully realize this boat’s breathtaking ambitions.
One of the biggest upper-decks on the market impresses with teak-decking throughout, two sunlounges and an enclosed upper salon. Towards the bow there is a stylish, low-slung U-shaped sofa in waterproofed upholstery or leather that surrounds a pair of timber-lined coffee tables, while directly across from this is a massive sunpad for up to five guests that transforms into a pair of sofas thanks to an adjustable headrest. Occupying the front portion of the foredeck is a jacuzzi spa-pool ideal for enjoying the superb sea-views while sipping on champagne. At the rear of the upper deck is a more formal al-fresco area with room for a sprawling side sofa, a set of sun-loungers and a handsome bespoke dining table large enough for ten diners. Across the central portion of this level there is a raised salon with light oak floors, a poker table, a C-shaped conversation sofa in cream leather, a marble-topped wet-bar, as well as gold and bronze-effect trim, floor-to-ceiling windows, cushioned wall panels and a day-head. Adjacent to this room you will find a pilothouse with subdued lighting, dark exotic timber paneling, a map desk, reverse-angled windscreen glazing, a sofa and a helm station like something out of a cruise ship with thruster controls, joystick piloting and four Garmin multi-function display screens.
The main-deck is no less impressive, offering a shaded aft-cockpit to the rear with a transom dining sofa, a granite-topped walk-in wetbar and side-steps down to a full-beam hydraulic bathing platform and access to a tender garage that doubles as a just-above water-level beach club with bar facilities. No expense has been spared to turn the main-deck salon into an extravagant, gilded space perfect for hosting events or for simply lounging in the lap of utter luxury. Gold-leaf accents, finely mirrored walls, opulent leathers and marble surfaces play against the bright lights of crystal-cut chandeliers and the natural light that pours in through panoramic side glazing. There is room for a wet-bar, an L-shaped sofa, a bespoke coffee table, a set of armchairs and a bulkhead with a home entertainment system to aft while further forward there is a dining table and access to a large port-side galley equipped with heavy-duty kitchen amenities. A full-beam master cabin occupies the front of the main-deck and features French cabinets, a king-sized bed, a vanity station, a side sofa, soft carpeting, a huge single-pane window to the bow and a bathroom lined in marble.
The four other en suite bedrooms on the lower-deck are bigger than most owner’s staterooms on other yachts, and feature dramatic hull glazing, island beds, masses of storage, good head clearance and bathrooms with waterfalls showers. There is a crew quarters to aft on this level with its own kitchen, bathroom and lounge facilities, ideal for long-distance cruisers who require staff assistance as they use this yacht to globe-trot.
Buyers can pick between three different engine options for top speeds of at least 16 knots and consistent cruising speeds clocking in at around 12 knots, with a range set to be in excess of 1,500 nautical miles. The standard model comes with a pair of 1000MHP Volvo Penta D13 engines, while upgrades to twin MAN 1550MHP diesels or a pair of MTU 1600MHP inboards are also on offer should you require a touch of extra thrust.
