The Lazzara LMY 64 is a beautifully innovative 64.6-foot luxury flybridge motoryacht first launched by the Tampa-based shipyard in 2013. A large swim platform leads to a capacious transom garage, with two staircases on either side leading up to the generous aft cockpit. Here you will find a U-shaped sofa with a large dining table, perfect for unwinding with a glass of wine after hard day of swimming and island-hopping. Forward and to starboard, a wet bar with sink will ensure no one goes thirsty.
On the foredeck, users will appreciate another stunning al fresco dining area with a sofa and two tables facing a large sunpad. Wide side-decks and handrails make it easy for guests to navigate their way forward for a sunset meal. This area is well-served by the nearby forward galley, which features a large dinette and a U-shaped countertop with plenty of workspace, and all the amenities required of a talented chef. The lower helm is situated here, too, ensuring the captain never feels left out of the fun. While the galley is open to the rest of the salon, the aft lounge space has a separate, serene feel. To starboard, a J-shaped sofa with a coffee table seats six or more people, with a three-person loveseat to port. Large windows all around offer bright, natural light and superb views of the sea.
At the time this boat was launched, the LMY 64’s flybridge was billed as the largest on any yacht under 70-feet. One of the most impressive aspects of this deck is the davit for a tender, unusual on a boat of this size. But that’s not all: an optional hardtop with skylights give the helm a skylounge feel, while two helm seats and state-of-the-art navigation equipment make this an ideal choice for couples or boating partners.
To port, an L-shaped sofa is the perfect spot for guests to chat with the captain. Just aft of the helm, owners and guests alike will delight at the enormous sofa, which stretches all the way aft to the launching crane and warps around a long teak table. Roomy enough for large celebrations and big dinner parties, this is a prime piece of al fresco real estate sure to be the social hub of the boat when the sun is shining.
Below deck, the sleeping quarters are no less impressive. An enormous full-beam owner’s suite sits amidships, with a plush king-sized bed beneath three stunning hullside window to starboard. To port, a desk and built-in pop-up television allow owners to work or unwind as desired. A walk-in closet provides plenty of space for large wardrobes, while the full-beam en suite bathroom features two sinks, a toilet, and a large walk-in shower.
To starboard is a well-appointed guest cabin with two twin beds with an en suite bathroom. Just forward, another twin cabin with bunks enjoys access to the nearby day head. The VIP suite is situated forward, and will delight your special guests with its spacious layout, ample storage, and en suite bathroom. The crew quarters, which can double as a fifth cabin for owner operators, is accessed via the transom and features an en suite bathroom.
The LMY 64 is powered by twin 900mhp Volvo Penta IPS 1200 engines, reaching thrilling top speeds upwards of 30 knots and a tamer cruising speed of 20.3 knots with a range of 287nm at 51 gallons-per-hour.
